Excellent seafood restaurant in Giaveno. Very helpful and friendly staff, and they have a terrace in the back overlooking the river, with no mosquitoes whatsoever. The mixed fried fish is exceptional, perfect. We also had a focaccia with incredible lard and a delicious calzone. It cost us 40 euros for two. We'll definitely be back!

Had lunch at Cantuccio. The menu is mostly fish-based, and the food is a good one, though not excellent (the first course tastes good, but the smell of burnt garlic is unappealing. The swordfish, if overcooked, turns out to be stringy).
The service is definitely too slow, even though the staff does everything they can to make up for it.
A few years ago, I had a much better experience, especially considering the menu offerings.

Ferragosto lunch... excellent welcome and ability to manage so many guests in a difficult climate... excellent service and menu... amazing seafood salad and octopus!!!

It might seem obvious to call Il Cantuccio a guarantee, but it always offers a pleasant surprise! Recommending it would be the least I could do... Impeccable management, excellent service, superior quality. And never mind if we're among the top-tier clientele...

Had a lovely evening with the family. Table set up in this small garden in the backyard, full of trees and the sound of the small river. It was pleasantly cool given the high temperatures. We ordered a paella for 5 which arrived in a large pan, ultimately there was enough for 10 people. Presentation: 10+. My mom chose a pizza which was really good, well cooked and generously stuffed. Drinks and wine very good. The desserts were delicious and carefully decorated, worthy of a Michelin guide. Not to be missed.

A splendid plate of spaghetti al cantuccio, a very generous portion that I recommend sharing between two. Unfortunately, I have to give the service a low rating: it's true that last night there were a lot of people and the place was full, but a little kindness doesn't hurt. The grumpy waitress, who already looked annoyed about our coffee order (four different ones), when asked what desserts were available, replied with an equally annoyed expression that we needed the dessert menu... which, of course, she didn't bring... Never mind! We got up without ordering dessert: in these cases, it's certainly not the customers who lose out...

Ormai in questo posto siamo di casa personale gentile e competente la titolare Antonella persona speciale senza parlare del mangiare spettacolare ..ieri sera abbiamo preso con amici la paella non buona di più con tanto pesce . Grazie sempre di tutto.
