Very nice place, very quiet and clean. Helpful and kind staff. Very good food, excellent quality, but prices a little high, for example, a bottle of coke 4 euros... a plate of spaghetti all'assassina 14 euros Compliments to the very nice and helpful waitress

Excellent food, good staff and place

Initially we had booked a table for 2 in another place a few meters away, a wine bar, as we wanted to taste a glass of wine and have a little something to accompany it. When we arrived in front of the winery we found out that it was closed and calling back to the owners they told us that we would be seated in the restaurant, understanding there that the winery and restaurant were under the same ownership. We decided to have dinner here even though we had thought of something else and it was a very pleasant surprise in the taste and presentation of the dishes as well as in the kindness of the waitress and the owner. The only advice I would like to give would be to offer greater clarity to customers on the phone so that they can freely decide whether or not to book at the restaurant without taking anything for granted.

After having eaten very well at Ottavio a few months ago, we returned to try new dishes and were rewarded with another beautiful gastronomic experience. The plates look like paintings and are artfully designed. The flavors are expertly mixed and every single course, from the seafood and land starters, to the first and second courses, is a pleasure for the palate. The menu is updated periodically and therefore each time you can enjoy different dishes. The pork Wellington is superb. In the dining room there is Miriam, kind and knowledgeable, who manages to recommend the right wine for each course. The place is welcoming and the staff qualified. Advised.

Restaurant with attention to every detail, professional and attentive staff. We tasted some well revisited and balanced local dishes. you can feel the hand of an expert Chef who leaves nothing to chance. Really tasty aubergine pie to try. Advise!!! I would care a little about the mise en place of the table, I'm old fashioned I know 😉 I will definitely come back and recommend it if you pass by Gioia del Colle.
