I'm very sorry to say I was completely disappointed. Not being local, I chose this restaurant based on the beautiful photos and reviews. Unfortunately, I made a terrible impression on my friend, my dinner guest, who was also disappointed. The dishes served are BEAUTIFUL, and there's nothing I can say about that. The problem is the taste. We didn't like anything! I'm all for paying a lot for a gourmet meal, but it has to be worth it. I'm sorry, but it's all show here! Not to mention the waiters, who were sick and tired of it, you could see from a mile away, and a lady—I dare say the owner, perhaps—who couldn't hide her rudeness behind a fake smile. The atmosphere was therefore not very pleasant. It's a shame, I had very high expectations. I won't be back.
IN RESPONSE: I didn't take advantage of the menu; I ate à la carte.

A truly impeccable experience in every way. Borgo Antico is one of those places that immediately makes you feel right at home: an elegant yet warm atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, and a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy your time and food without rushing.
The cuisine is simply excellent. Refined, well-balanced dishes, with evidently high-quality ingredients and beautiful yet never overdone presentations. Each course has meaning, a precise balance, and you can clearly sense the skill and respect of the ingredients.
The service deserves a special mention: attentive, kind, professional, always present but never intrusive. They make you feel welcomed, listened to, and pampered in the right way.
A restaurant that leaves its mark, ideal for both a special dinner and a moment of true gastronomic pleasure. I will definitely return.
5 full stars, well-deserved. ✨
I know when a place is truly good… and this one is indeed. 💫

We really appreciated their attention to detail in the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes. The atmosphere was lovely, and the wine list was good.
Chef Ottavio, along with his partner, provided moments of lightheartedness.
Congratulations 🥰
No photos. It wasn't the right time for New Year's Eve.

Everything was excellent, with great respect for Gioia's tradition. Good service and courteous staff. I returned for a special event, and Miriam and I agreed on an excellent menu, which was appreciated by all the guests. Everything is always excellent, but some dishes could be simpler, less elaborate, to better savor the flavors of the food. Congratulations.

It was a lunch with the slow pace of trust and the long breath of a love story with Puglia, told not aloud but in a whisper, with grace and respect. A cuisine that doesn't seek to impose, but to be heard. Chef Ottavio moves like a poet: he doesn't describe, he evokes; he doesn't explain, he caresses the memory.
The beginning is a gentle gesture, almost a hint of a smile: the warm and fragrant tomato focaccia and the small bread and arugula meatballs nestled in the softness of the cardoncelli mushrooms open the heart even before the palate. It is the taste of home, of returning, of a time that finally slows down.
The appetizer is composed like a seasonal bouquet, in which each element finds its place naturally. The savory baba, guarding a tartare of heifer and marinated turnips, is an unexpected and seductive encounter; the cardoncelli mushroom cappuccino, veiled by a potato foam, envelops like a discreet embrace; The pork chop meatball on smoked ricotta fondue speaks of Sundays, of expert hands, and handed-down skills; the chicory terrine, with canestrato cheese fondue and turnip sauce, closes with a note of sweet bitterness, the most sincere of emotions.
The pumpkin, porcini mushroom, and roasted chestnut risotto is an autumnal caress: soft, deep, capable of conveying the silence of the woods and the warmth of slowly fading colors.
The second courses make more intense statements. The juicy and vibrant Iberian pluma interacts with the grilled artichokes and black garlic in a sensual and measured balance; the duck breast is illuminated by pomegranate, while celeriac and baby spinach accompany its delicacy with respectful discretion. Here, the cuisine becomes intimate, almost confidential. Dessert arrives like a suspended finale: cinnamon apple tatin, salted caramel, and milk gelato close the experience with a nostalgic sweetness that lingers like a happy memory.
Making the experience even more ethereal is the "Tutto Bollicine" Franciacorta Flamingo experience, whose sparkling bubbles accompany the meal like gentle music: not just a side dish, but the silent soul of the encounter.
The result is a romantic and captivating gastronomic experience, a journey where technique and emotion intertwine, and where each dish becomes a declaration of love for the region, for memory, and for the beauty of sharing.
