I tried this restaurant for dinner, recommended by friends. Both the outdoor and indoor location in the historic center of Gioia del Colle is beautiful. The menu pays attention to local specialties and has a gourmet touch. The carpaccios were excellent, as was the appetizer selection. The octopus was delicious and perfectly cooked. The desserts are a highlight! They were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The quality/price ratio is average for fish-based dishes. The service was a bit sluggish, but there's always room for improvement.

On the journey between Matera and Alberobello, it was time for lunch, and we had to improvise when choosing where to have lunch. We were at the height of Gioia del Colle, and searching on google maps we found this restaurant. It is located on a main road, with easy parking in the surrounding alleys. The interior is small, modern and has two well-decorated adjoining rooms. The service is fast and attentive, but what we highlight is the food. To start, we ordered a chef's choice antipasti of 4 appetizers in a small format and it was a great success: the cream of peas with cuttlefish or the beef tartare sandwich were to be repeated. Then ravioli stuffed with meat with vegetable ragu and excellent canestrato cheese and orecchioni with artichoke sauce, guanciale and black truffle which was surely the best dish of the lunch. Desserts were less surprising, although equally well executed, both the coulant with soft fennel ice cream and the typical sporcamuss of the area. In short, a great experience provided somewhat by chance and which was surely the best meal we had during our 6-day trip through Puglia, even ahead of some bib gourmand restaurants!

A place where the quality of the food, the elegance of the location, the efficiency of the service and a friendly atmosphere are excellently combined. Congratulations to chef Ottavio and his wife Miriam for managing this place with professionalism and love where you can enjoy - without distorting them - the meat and fish delicacies that the menu offers according to the seasons. In short, a restaurant where you absolutely want to return.

Exceptional in every way: refined cuisine, elegant surroundings, exceptional staff. I recommend it both for a romantic dinner and for a family lunch for a special occasion. It's easy to reach and it's also easy to park nearby. To return!

A unique meeting of various flavors, which intertwined well with each other. Nothing left to chance: great attention to detail. Each dish was first enjoyed with the eyes, and then appeared refined on the palate. The chef, Ottavio Surico, was kind and very professional and with incredible humility asked us, at the end of dinner, what we thought of his dishes. Miriam, who manages the room, is also kind and courteous. A place that I had underestimated, where I will certainly return, because it really makes me want to return, to try even more dishes. Really congratulations!
