All good, trattoria with castles of the past, no particular flash of originality, but a lot of substance, even quantitatively... Rustic place, however well looked after, reasonable availability of parking, Excellent organization even when there are a lot of people, courteous staff.

Rustic location with vintage references but overall well-kept. Raw materials of notable quality cooked and presented in an optimal manner, with decidedly generous portions. "Mandatory" is their grilled meat, tender, juicy and very tasty. Attentive and helpful staff. Fair Prices. Well done👏

Simple atmosphere, excellent food and wine, fast service and all the waiters are very friendly, typical of the Romans. We tried mature beef and adult cow meats with more than 30 days of maturation, they melted in your mouth, they are worth the 70 euros per kg that they charge for cooking over wood in the room. Such a tbone weighs 1.2 to 2 kg just so you know

Food and environment above average.... The sore point is the service, we came on a Sunday for lunch and they forgot the fried starters which we paid for anyway..... But between the first and second we waited more than 1.45 ..... The first was brought at 1.15pm now it's 3.00pm and perhaps after numerous complaints they bring us the second ones. The total rating is the average between the three: food and environment ok but service to be forgotten.

13/01/2025: Pampa equals meat, always be on the safe side.
09/01/2025: Very large place, it creates confusion, the room is large and the temperature inside is not the best for lunch or dinner, the meat is good but in my opinion it is not cooked well, once they overcooked it when I wanted it rare Then it arrived cooked on the outside, raw on the inside, so much so that the inside was still cold from the refrigerator. The waiters are kind and professional, very good cheese cake.

22/12/2024: The new version of the Elephant in a new location. Let's start by saying that the quality of the products is excellent, We had an entire dinner based on fish and everything was simply perfect from the starter to the dessert. Fantastic and delicious fish. The new location is extraordinary, it is a "Home restaurant" so we are directly inside the managers' house. The house is huge and beautiful and is full of elephants of all types, from statuettes to paintings, everything in the restaurant revolves around the main theme, namely the elephant 🐘. Super friendly, helpful and friendly waiters and owners. Prices normal. The only downside is that the area is very isolated and practically unreachable by public transport or at least if it were it would not be easy to reach the place, so you absolutely need a car to reach it. Probably the best fish restaurant on the entire Via Flaminia.
07/10/2024: As a guest of a friend for lunch I ate a heavenly fettuccine with wild boar ragout... The problem was that the chef gave me a 2 ounce portion which, alas, I wasn't able to finish!!! Excellent starter, I can't say anything else! Excellent quality and service, I definitely recommend it! 👍
