I am really happy to review this restaurant, because... it deserves the best! I came here together with the legendary Giovanni Feliciani, colleague and superior!
The owners are not only extremely kind, but also able to satisfy any palate, even the most demanding, especially those who love good meat in all its forms (there is a wide selection of cuts to choose from, in the spacious display case in front of the fireplace, from which the place derives its name). What about the appetizers? They too are rich in every delicacy: a particular note of praise for the hand-cut ham, the beans all' uccelletto, the grilled vegetables, the fried foods of their own production and so on and so forth!
For the occasion, I enjoyed the excellent polenta accompanied by pork ribs and sausages.
To conclude the abundance of food served, I tasted the excellent desserts made by the expert hands of the owner who, given the imminent Carnival, delighted in excellent fried delicacies and treats... I'm still salivating remembering the zeppoline filled with custard! The dining room staff is also extremely attentive to customer needs. The large room is also equipped with convenient outdoor parking and a pleasant outdoor veranda, ideal for beautiful spring and summer days, to be spent admiring the beautiful surrounding countryside, far from the chaos of the city. The price, among other things, is truly competitive compared to standards.
The venue is suitable for informal convivial meetings for families and friends.

Excellent experience, friendly service, nice environment. Excellent proposals for grilled cuts of meat, rigorously cooked with seasoned wood embers... Fresh meat, displayed in a large refrigerated counter, in full view! Good side dishes... Special desserts. Price normal. Recommended for those who love eating meat! Ample and free parking.

We had a tasty selection of cold cuts and a very tasty and juicy steak, all served by a friendly staff. Price was maybe a bit high if I consider both what we ate and the location. You pay the steak by weight and I recommend to wait and check what is the actual weight you get

La solita certezza di fare bella figura con i colleghi di lavoro, ma stavolta abbiamo trovato una piacevole sorpresa..i frigoriferi con carne a vista!
Per me è sempre stato un punto di riferimento ma adesso trovo che abbiano fatto il giusto “aggiornamento” per stare al passo con i tempi!
Bellissimo poter scegliere la carne che mangerai con tanto di prezzi applicati, vedere che tagliano e pesano davanti a te la carne che ti sei scelto.
Abbiamo scelto Bue Grasso e Bruna Alpina per le bistecche, poi agnello e salsicce.
Antipasto tipico, semplice, con le cose buone e le bruschette con porcini e tartufo.
Verdure cotte di stagione e patate al forno come contorno e poi dolci e grappa di altissimo livello.
Tutto accompagnato da bottiglie e bottiglie di ottimi vini!
Diffidate da recensioni di dubbia provenienza, guardate le foto vere!
