An exceptional discovery, it was like going back to eating homemade dishes on Sundays, made with passion, a fabulous eggplant parmigiana, a Tuscan platter with excellent quality cheeses and cured meats and excellent staff and cooks.

Quick and authentic lunches. Highly recommended.

On my first day in Chianciano Terme, I was looking for a restaurant near my hotel and stumbled upon Calimero, a restaurant run entirely by women with an open kitchen. I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. Fast service, generous portions. For the first time, I tried the fettuccine with delicious hare ragu, and the peposo dell'Impruneta was delicious. The ladies serving were very courteous and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay! I'll definitely be back before my vacation ends.
