Il Calamaro Fritto In Sestri levante

The best restaurant ever in Sestri. Owners always kind, waiters always available and friendly. I had the pleasure of sitting near the kitchen and seeing them preparing the dishes with care and dedication was priceless. Well done!!

Place in the square outside the centre. Good welcome and good food.

We had dinner on site.. (recommended by an acquaintance not from the area but from Lombardy) very fresh fish and cooked very well.. quite generous dishes.. and normal prices.. friendly and kind staff.. I was hoping to eat it in the "pan" like in the photos but we are in high season and you can't have too many expectations... anyway I recommend..

Even without a reservation we managed to eat on a Saturday evening, obviously with a moment of patience, they still managed to find us a place and I must say that it was really worth it

Rotisserie turned restaurant, with simple and honest dishes. Very efficient service and courteous staff. I tried a tasty Ligurian fish (shame it was served in a bulky pan). The restaurant has tables outside and under a dehors overlooking a square of little appeal

A place to eat well without many demands on location. The food is good, generous portions. Impeccable service thanks to Giuliano who is very attentive to customer needs and always very present. Truly recommended.

Marinated salmon with Tropea onion and pink pepper and spaghetti alla brezza are fantastic dishes. Even the fried food is nice and dry and still plentiful

Wow what a find! We are so sorry we only found this restaurant on our last day in Sestri Levante. It's a mostly outdoor place (though they do have indoor seating as well) in the grocery store shopping center called Coop. It was walkable from our Air BnB. I read some things about them not serving customers, but found the opposite to be true. They do want you to reserve, and we did. When we got there it was relatively empty (we're Americans, we eat early, lol!) but within a few minutes of 7:30 opening time, it was packed. All seemed to have reservations. Now let me tell you our food experience in Sestri Levante was not the best, but this was absolutely the BEST food all week. Wish we had found it earlier. Others said it is like a fish market restaurant...but we found it lovely. Yes, the plastic cutlery is gone, replaced by a lovely table service. We had a half liter of their house wine, which was excellent and reasonable in price, BTW. We had the fish ravioli with gamberi and sauce, all homemade, and perfectly seasoned. We also had spaghetti and clam sauce, perfectly sauced with tiny tender baby clams. It was exceptional as well. Do not hesitate to visit when in Sestri Levante. You will not be disappointed. And maitre di Guiliano was entertaining, engaging and made sure all diners were happy. It will be on our list on future visits to the area.

Siamo stati a cena diverse volte gustando le varie proposte del menù. Ottima qualità sia per la freschezza del prodotto sia per come viene cucinato,ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ottimo servizio: tutti gentili, cordiali e veloci. Meglio prenotare: c'è rischio di non trovare posto. Consigliatissimo!
