Unique. Movie lovers will certainly enjoy the museum, but there's no access to sets o studios... I visited during a March 2024 weekend, so was able to visit (good guided tour) the Rome set.
Beautiful experience, beautiful place, well-kept and rich in the history of Italian and international cinema, beautiful stable outdoor sets, very good guide, beautiful permanent exhibitions where you can see many stage costumes from many Colossal films from the past including Elizabeth's dresses Taylor in Cleopatra. The only flaw is that the visit does not include entry into any studio... and the cost of the ticket is a little excessive.

Guided tour of the Ancient Rome set, created in 2004 for the Rome series and also used for other national and international productions. It is a large open-air SET consisting of the Forum area with some buildings of ancient Rome, including the Basilica Giulia, the Curia, the Tribune of the Rostra, the Temple of Venus, a Roman road. The very interesting visit, made with a guide from the Education Department, allows us to understand the scenographic and artisanal work that lies behind the creation of a set and to touch the materials firsthand. You can independently visit the exhibition itineraries of the exhibition, which tell the story of Cinecittà's production since 1937, the large landscape park, with natural and non-natural plants, scenographic statues used for major films, a production area made up of sound stages and outdoor set, for example that of A doctor in the family.

A journey into the dream of cinema, walking through the streets of ancient Rome and Fellini's Rimini. A guided tour that deserves five stars, excellent organization and an excellent guide.
