An ordinary cafe on one of the central streets of the city. Don't expect cheap prices and fancy offerings. We walked around Milan on December 25th, just in time for Christmas. More than 95% of the establishments in the city were closed, and those that were open in the Duomo area had very long queues. We were happy to sit down, relax, have a coffee, a cocktail, a snack and use the toilet. Mushroom risotto and spaghetti with tomato sauce are dishes that are difficult to spoil. The taste met our expectations. I would like to mention the waiter who served the tables outside - a pleasant and attentive guy.

02/01/2025: So the funny thing about those who put the negative review. And no offense they are really stupid.. also because 🤣😂😂😂 the place is closing and so they don't care anymore And unfortunately it will close this end of the year.. So avoid making reviews hahahaha... I do it because this place is not only beautiful but I'm sorry that the few remaining Milanese and historic places will close But here it is 🤣😂😂🤣 it's killing me.. I think that a place is necessarily closing because they don't renew the rental contract and unfortunately it could be less charismatic. Anyway, first of all in life: information. You are attached to this cell 24 hours a day for useless things. Every now and then, use it intelligently.
26/12/2024: We had an aperitif and bought a bust of Verdi and Mrs Maria, very sweet and kind, was extremely courteous. It's a shame to lose this piece of Milanese history.

Caffé Cinquecento

01/05/2025: Very friendly staff, we didn't eat, we had drinks that were served quickly and efficiently. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious but a bit pricey. We enjoyed the time we spent there.
14/12/2024: Very comfortable bar next to the Arcimboldi theater to eat and drink something before the theatre. We had little time to eat but the staff were really quick which is not to be underestimated. Before a show a fixed stop.
