Splendid Sunday in the Bolognese hills crowned by an equally splendid lunch in this trattoria.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and we ate well! Objectively, the first courses are their strong point, divine mushroom tagliatelle and generous portions. For the second course we had grilled meat and the grilled vegetables were good but not like the first courses! Tip: since you also have vegetarian alternatives for the first courses, perhaps you can remove a couple of meat dishes from the second courses and replace them with vegetarian alternatives.
Location: heavenly. A beautiful view and perfect weather in June/July

For the food I would give 5 stars to the pasta, tortelloni with butter and sage which are a work of art. Among the second courses, lots of meat or tigelle and cold cuts. I don't know if perhaps the recipe for tigelle changes between the provinces, but perhaps I prefer them in the Modena area, forgive me. Very good Lambrusco. Given the country location I was expecting something more country, like the fried vegetables, yes, but made by them, but instead they were frozen. Young, fast and very kind service. Lots of bunnies running around as if they were pets, very beautiful especially if you have children. The exteriors are very beautiful, the interiors are a little too full, creating confusion, involuntary intimacy etc etc.
If we had been more relaxed we would have enjoyed it more, but when the family arrived with a wheelchair and moved our plates to put the wheelchair between the tables, we left.

It was a pleasant discovery, rustic setting...excellent first and second courses (tagliatelle, tortellacci, rabbit, cold cuts), equally delicious side dishes and finally sweets too.
Excellent Sunday lunch, friendly waiters and a very suggestive view.
Very very honest prices and generous portions... the journey of over an hour (Sunday trip) was worth it.

Pranzo per la festa del mio compleanno.
Amo i nostri colli e oggi ho trovato un buon posto genuino,ambiente rustico,tipica cucina emiliana con sapori ottimi proposti con gentilezza .

A stunning typical Italian place with real Italian food, homely and generous, without unnecessary pretentiousness. Located among the hills, but not far! There is a beautiful landscape around and cute domestic rabbits running around. The menu includes an amazing wild boar ragu and tortelloni con fungi porcini! Every time I visit, I always go to Cacciatore!!! I recommend!

Good and honest. Available and fast. The stewed wild boar is superb, the tigelle are marvelous and are made to perfection and without lard and milk. The original mountain ones.
I revisit my old review and confirm it.
Always perfect wild boar, super tigelle. The only negative note is that they don't contain soft cheeses which is a major limitation for enjoying the tigelle in the right way.
The mushroom tortelli is absolutely worth trying
I recommend the pignoletto
