A lovely place in the center that's hard to find if you don't know it. Very refined! Recommended for a formal meeting!

A Medieval Courtyard That Really Works In the Broletto complex, right in the center of Novara, this bar and restaurant has a real advantage: an authentic medieval courtyard, with loggias and enough space to never feel cramped. It's one of those places where lingering comes naturally. The table layout is well thought out, never feeling crowded, and the courtyard absorbs noise well, a rare thing in such a central location. The service is attentive: courteous staff, particularly attentive staff, and reasonable wait times, managed with order even during peak hours. The menu is perfect for any time of day, from coffee to aperitif, with unconventional ideas like creamed peas with herb fritters, polenta cubes with melted sweet gorgonzola, mini flans, savory pancakes, and select fruit juices. A place that's not just beautiful to look at: it's designed to make everyone who stops by feel good.

I gave it 3 stars because 1 coffee + 1 slice of cake = €7.20 seems excessive. Very kind and helpful staff, beautiful location.

This risotto is a must-try! Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A refined atmosphere, with helpful and friendly staff. I go there at least once a month for tea (by the way, they have a great variety and selection: the Romeo and Juliet tea is very good). The aperitif is also very good.

Lunch with friends on a Saturday. The place was spacious and welcoming, with a good selection of well-cooked, tasty dishes. The service wasn't exactly excellent, and perhaps could be improved a little.
