It's always a pleasure to return to this little pizzeria. The owner is beautiful, friendly but above all always smiling and present. The pizza is wonderfully good and thin. Top ingredients and if you love spicy food, the pizza chef knows how to please you. Extraordinary.

Like at home.....very kind staff and praise for Denise who is a true hostess, she makes you feel at ease, from adults to children. Very good pizza both in the pan and in the brick and a 10/10 for the farinata, as my child said, difficult to taste!!! A trip out of town between the big bench of Castelnuovo and the Brindo, 3 b, perfect number! Congratulations to everyone, keep it up and see you soon! Absolutely recommended! Come a casa.....personale gentilissimo e un plauso a denise che è una vera padrona di casa,ti fa sentire a tuo agio,dai grandi ai piccoli. Pizza buonissima sia al padellino sia al mattone e un 10 e lode per la farinata,come ha detto il mio bimbo,difficile di gusti!!! Una gita fuori porta tra il big bench di castelnuovo e il brindo,3 b,numero perfetto!complimenti a tutti,continuate cosi e arrivederci a presto!assolutamente consigliato!Anna,Ismael e nonna Carla:)

31/08/2024: Excellent starters, as well as the first and second courses. Excellent wine list (although the reds should be kept at a lower temperature...) It is also possible to choose fish dishes, at least that was the case on Friday evening
24/08/2024: Everything was excellent as always, it's a shame that the prices have increased a lot. Several starters have been removed but the price is excessive. If I pay a lot I would like a tablecloth and napkins made of tow and not paper. I'm sorry for Mrs. Roberta who is a lovely person but it's no longer a restaurant for my finances.

Il Cavolo a Merenda

08/12/2024: Now that I've tried it, I understand why it is so renowned: excellent food, intimate atmosphere, very kind staff who are attentive to customer needs. If I returned to Asti I would return. Absolutely to book in advance. Prices around 35/45 each but it's worth it.
07/12/2024: We entered Cavolo a snack Gourmet (the door slightly after that of the local Cavolo a snack) where there was a fixed menu for €23 including cover charge and we were pleasantly surprised. As an appetizer, polenta with fondue and then the agnolotti first course, all with a good glass of Barbera d'Asti. Courteous staff and the very nice thing in my opinion is seeing before your eyes how the dishes were created. Entrance without architectural barriers. They don't take reservations (we went on the weekend of the Immaculate Conception, I don't know about the other days), so you'd better stop by and see if they have room.
