So I read the reviews before coming here and my tour guy recommended the place. I decided because a lot of the reviews look like people were being unfair as they were a bit bent out of shape thay i would give it a go none the less. And look, dont expect a 10/10 meal. It was okay, and most importantly put food in our bellys. I've tried many pesto pastas and honestly it was maybe a 5.5/6 out of 10 so like, not awful. The panna cotta was delicious albeit small. The bread tasted a bit stale, the mixed fish entre was bland and the wine was very acidic. Again, if you just want something to eat, its a fine place to go and the staff were friendly enough but if you want to experience food then id suggest going elsewhere. It was a solid 6/10 overall. Not bad and pretty okay priced considering what you get and it compared to everywhere elses prices! This is not a knock at all to the venue.

Ottimo cibo servizio veloce è srmpre un piacere tornarci Ho mangiato ottimo pesce Antipasto con insalata di mare Spaghetti allo scoglio frittura di pesce.tutto veramente buono.

05/07/2025: My partner and I have no idea why the reviews are so negative. We were looking for somewhere for dinner, we were undecided so asked a staff member at the bar we were at. He recommended us here (thankfully). It was insane! Such a good meal, fresh and such friendly staff. Such a good meal. Please go here!
27/06/2025: Had lunch here with my family while visiting Cinque Terre. We would normally check a restaurant's Google review before eating there and only go to 4 star or above establishments, but we were hungry and thirsty and the shady patio looked inviting. Overall, we had a good experience. The wait staff was attentive, there were vegetarian options, and the food was good with appropriate sized portions. Sure, it's touristy, but it's in Cinque Terre...

Primo Piatto

15/06/2025: We had read the comments about the “rude” service but the food being very good and we decided to try it. Upon our arrival, we realized it was only a lady and her husband running the shop and that everything was homemade. The lady at the counter was a bit cold but not rude at all, she didn’t really speak and after a few minutes we ordered. We watched her meticulously make the pasta like an Italian nona cooking at home. We had a bottle of wine and asked if we could use her bottle opener which she accepted with a polite smile. That’s when we realized the reason she wasn’t speaking was probably because she didn’t really speak English. We used google translate to tell her that the pasta looked amazing and she thanked us with the warmest sincere smile! I think people misjudge her and she is actually very very sweet! For the pasta, it was absolutely I credible. We took 4 different sauces and all of them had their own unique flavours! It was the best pasta we’ve ever had. It was very affordable too! An absolute must in Riomaggiore! Thank you for the delicious meal :)
19/01/2025: Pastas/taste is really good. Everything is house made. Service is not great but okay. Can be improved.
