Recommended by friends, we tried this place. It was a great surprise. It's a small, clean place with friendly staff. The appetizer was a mixed platter with top-notch products. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection with excellent meat, the fillet could be cut with a fork. The desserts were excellent. We had a great time. The only downside is the noise.

The service was good and they had a lady that was fluent in English. They do not have English menus which was inconvenient. They have their menu but they it seems like they have a different dish every day. That is why they have a sign by the door where it tells you what the menu of the day is. They also gave us some bread that we can use and some wipes. I enjoyed my time there but as it a restaurant the most important thing is the food. Honestly I did not enjoy of the food that I had. Maybe this is what the normal Italian people eat but as someone that is not new to traveling or the western cuisine it made me feel sad that I had to eat the food.

Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

05/01/2026: Atmosphere and Sophistication The atmosphere of this place is truly welcoming, with soft lighting, thoughtful details, and antiques. The service is attentive and fast. The menu offers a wide selection, with many interesting options. There's also the option of a tasting menu. We were served a complimentary soup with herbs from the chef's garden. I had two octopus dishes, both very good and tasty: • Greek-style octopus, braised in merlot and then grilled, served on a rosemary chickpea cream and a dusting of sweet paprika. • Carnaroli risotto creamed with Barbera d'Alba, crispy octopus, and citrus zest. The dessert was very special: pear glazed with Passito di Pantelleria wine, crumble, and caramelized figs with citrus. They asked us if we wanted to try a liqueur made by the chef, so we accepted, thinking it was free, but instead we ended up paying €6 a glass. This last detail was a bit of a sour note in an excellent dinner; it should have been mentioned. We spent €60 each with just one glass of wine. A bit pricey.
