We ordered spaghetti with 'nduja, tortello with buffalo stracciatella, and a pizza. Everything was delicious; carefully prepared and tasty dishes met our expectations. The pizza arrived promptly, while we had to wait a bit longer for the first courses, but overall it was worth it. A welcoming place with a good selection of dishes. Definitely worthy of 4 stars.

An excellent traditional restaurant, just steps from the Sanctuary. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere is rooted in the kindness of the entire staff. The quality of the meals was remarkable: the appetizers were excellent, showcasing local products, and the pizzas were beautifully prepared and topped. The surrounding landscape is perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Welcoming and well-maintained restaurant, the food is good quality. It's a shame we waited over an hour for our pizza; we had to ask for it. The service leaves a little to be desired. I recommend that if the kitchen/pizzeria is late with orders, the waiters should be more considerate when it comes to drinks. They should be attentive when called, and above all, bring drinks immediately. An extra minute of cooking time for the fried porcini mushrooms would have enhanced the product! The little jar with plastic flowers on the table was rejected!!! The bill is normal!

Well, I've read a few completely negative reviews about "Boschetto" in Torre di Ruggero; and while I respect others' opinions, I disagree: for example, when a dish isn't exactly what you ordered, you send it back to the chef and you have to demand what you want, without fuss or subsequent recriminations. I'm a veteran Trip and Google reviewer, with thousands of views; I am/we are "the usual four" drunkards/gourmets, globetrotters of taste. Several years ago, under different management, I went to "Boschetto" for a pizza: a "traumatic" experience that led me not to return for years. This July, at the suggestion of a friend, we went for dinner—despite my doubts—"the usual four." Well, since our previous experience 15 years ago,... everything has changed! Ample and usable parking; rooms, including restrooms, are spacious and clean; waiting staff ready to order and to give orders; Clean tablecloths, properly tidy; for the sake of brevity, I'll skip the description of what we ate: everything was excellent! I'll also skip the bill, which was adequate for what we ordered. So much so that we returned the night before last, just my wife and I (the "other two" had left for France); do you know how it ended? The result exceeded our expectations; so much so that we took away much of the "uneaten" portion, which we instead consumed today! And on Sunday, we'll be back again with our daughter, son-in-law, and brothers-in-law! I owe this much: for the sake of justice on the part of an old and seasoned "globetrotting food reviewer." The "boschetto" will certainly not be "the best": those who want that, ... should go elsewhere; but also be willing to shell out much higher sums! And please, before you denigrate the work of young people (hotel management graduates—one of the "usual four" is a teacher there!), please put your hand on your conscience: those who work as hard as they can are entitled to respect! Especially, "on the merits": those who work in the challenging restaurant industry; before becoming a reviewer, I did so, as a young man, 60 years ago! So... I know what I say and write! Very clean place, welcoming staff, kind, helpful, super friendly and very well-groomed. Excellent and varied food. Mrs. Luciana and her staff made us feel like family, we felt at home. Recommended place for physical and mental rest.
