A spacious and characteristic restaurant located in an ancient village near the Tuscolana district, near Quadraro.
You can enjoy excellent meat dishes, which you can choose from as you see them.
There's a good selection of appetizers and first courses, of course. The traditional Roman (thin) giant pizza is also excellent.
Friendly staff.
There's ample free indoor parking.
Good value for money.
Recommended for both company and a romantic dinner. When booking, I'd recommend asking for a table in the dining room with the floor above an aquarium with real fish.

I went there to celebrate a wedding. It's very welcoming, clean, large, and well-kept (even the bathrooms). From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious and varied. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location is also beautiful. I recommend it.

The spacious and charming atmosphere is enhanced by the frescoes on the walls and the unique faux leather tablecloths on which you eat. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the thin, light pizza is tasty and easy to digest. Parking is available next to the building, just a few steps from the entrance. We'll definitely be back.

The island that isn't there... actually, it's here. Yes, because in one of the city's busiest traffic areas, right next to the train station, a stone's throw from the Arch of Sixtus V (the so-called "Porta Furba"), near the Felice Aqueduct, and a stone's throw from the Mandrione... right at that point where the Tuscolana becomes a narrow canal that passes under the arches, forming a loop... right here, there's a village. "Come on!" you might say... but no... an oasis of peace enclosing a handful of small houses, with a parking lot on one side and a driveway that ends in a small square that looks like it was fashioned by the Cinecittà crew, a perfect set for a film set in a small village in the Italian Apennines. This is the heart of this place, which, in addition to the spacious outdoor space, offers a jaw-dropping indoor space (yes, I confess...even though I'm a Top Reviewer, I immediately exclaimed, "It's beautiful!" like a kid in a pastry shop). The rooms multiply between round arches embellished with bricks and beautiful trompe-l'oeil with views of the capital's most characteristic monuments, with matching tables and plenty of seating to accommodate even large groups. It was recommended to me by the kind staff at the Parco delle Tombe della Via Latina (saint me now!), and I would never have found it on my own, especially because it's so hidden. A sign indicates the parking lot just after the bus stop, but if you haven't geolocated it, you might get stuck in traffic. "You'll think of me while you're eating," I was told: I agree. A very friendly welcome, friendly and smiling staff...it didn't take long to feel right at home, except that everything here is beautiful, with an open wood-fired oven, cuts of meat that are the hallmark of their well-known grill business, and a reputation for its pizzas, certainly no exception for the restaurant menu. Dishes are mostly typical Roman cuisine and prices are average: the strong point...a very strong point...are the portions. The maltagliati with artichokes and crispy bacon are Nobel Prize-worthy, but the tonnarelli cacio e pepe are also excellent, the saltimbocca is good, and the filet mignon is excellent (it's on classic dishes that judgements are formed). Only one regret: the portions were so generous that even a big eater like me, reluctantly, had to forgo dessert...maybe it's the first time...how do you do it? I'll have to go back. In the meantime, I'm the one who recommends it wholeheartedly: it's a place suitable for all types of customers—individuals, couples, families, groups with children, and even those with disabilities. The friendly staff will win you over, too. Perhaps by then, Christian, the future staff member "in training," will have made his official appearance in the company, and it was a pleasure to have him at the table with his mother, Valentina. You try it...and now I'm the one who says, "While you eat, I'm sure you'll think of me," and you'll recommend it to others. Need some help? Then leave a like and check out the other reviews in Rome and beyond.

We went for a family dinner, charming setting, nice tables, good food, we had first courses, second courses and pizza and everything was pleasant, unprofessional service, the only saving grace is the waitress with short hair who tries to make up for her colleague's rudeness.

After discovering and dining at this restaurant, we also decided to celebrate my daughter's baptism there. We've always had a great time: the location is beautiful, the food is good (especially the meat), and the staff is kind, helpful, and attentive.

I was there with my family to celebrate my graduation. Nothing to complain about, the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. They found a solution to everything and accommodated my needs perfectly.
Valentina is an exceptional and extremely helpful person, always ready to welcome you with a smile.
The room we used for a more intimate experience, with the aquarium underneath, was wonderful. You can customize it in any way you like by bringing along swag.
Excellent food.
We really enjoyed it!
