Delicious, home-cooked food, just like at your mother's house. The owners are very friendly. They'll prepare whatever you request, even if they don't have it on the menu. Highly recommended for your daily lunch.

I left work at 2:20 PM and was supposed to return at 3:00 PM. Greeted kindly, I expressed my need for a quick meal, even though I hadn't called ahead to let them know. The kitchen was no problem; within minutes, they brought me a typical Sicilian appetizer that was enough to fill me up, followed by a simple but absolutely delicious pasta with garlic, oil, and chili pepper (pictured is a half portion). I returned to the work meeting promptly, full, and satisfied, especially considering the modest cost of this simple, yet hasty, and delicious lunch.

Mm!! Street Food

26/10/2025: My colleagues and I stopped at this restaurant several times during our stay in Catania. What can I say? The food is wonderfully delicious, all accompanied by the kindness of the staff. I highly recommend trying their tuna steak—never tasted so good in my entire life! Also, the fried calamari, the sardines a beccafico, and last but not least, the caponata, both the original version and the one with octopus are delicious. You can taste the love they put into preparing each dish using local, fresh ingredients in every bite. I will definitely be back during my next stay in Catania ♥️
22/10/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with some of the highlights being the sardines, mussels and fish skewer. To complete the meal, we had the best tiramisu we‘ve ever eaten, which had a perfect consistency and flavour balance. Would highly recommend
