A truly authentic place... friendly staff and exquisite and courteous hosts, and that alone makes the difference... excellent dishes... truly remarkable appetizers with excellent products and vegetables that taste like they're from the garden... perfect pici and truly sublime lamb... all "seasoned" with politeness and hospitality... thank you so much... you made us feel like family.

ambiente pulito e personale gentilissimo, cucina tipica del posto. Ottimi i ravioli spinaci e ricotta, peccato che erano anche se grandi n.4 Ottimo lo spezzatino di vitello con il finocchietto selvatico. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Animali ammessi

15/10/2025: The old tavern is always a guarantee. I've returned here after years, and the food remains just as good. Sure, the prices used to be more affordable, but considering the quality of the meat, you're paying a fair price. Recommended.
13/10/2025: The tavern is located in the center of Viterbo. The interior is striking, all stone. The menu is almost entirely meat-based, from every type and source. We ordered a medium-rare tagliata (rather tough for my taste), chicory (decent), baked potatoes (good), and desserts (good). The place quickly fills with the smell of meat, which lingers in the room, probably because there's insufficient ventilation. The staff was rather brusque and unsympathetic, one young woman in particular. The quality/price ratio was decent.
