A farm perhaps like few others that serves the available harvest of the day. An excellent appetizer that ranges from cured meats, fried cheeses and pickles. First courses with a simple and fresh flavour, to conclude with second courses of meat and potato side dishes that are delicious to the eye and the palate. Excellent house red wine which gave an extra flavor to the dinner. Highly recommended if you are in the area, an excellent experience.

Mangiare buono e con materie prime a km 0 ma per i prezzi della zona non si puó pagare 90 euro in 4 per un antipasto in quattro persone. Alla fine conto di 125 euro con 4 antipasti, un primo in 4, una frutta, bevande e coperto, troppo alti!

I had the pleasure of spending an evening at the Il Borghetto farmhouse, and I can say that it was a truly pleasant experience. The food was excellent, with genuine and tasty dishes that perfectly reflect the local tradition. The quality of the ingredients and the care in the preparation stood out in every course.
Great credit goes to the owner who welcomed us with great courtesy and helpfulness, making us feel at home. His kindness made the atmosphere even more relaxing and pleasant.
The environment is quiet and surrounded by nature, perfect for those looking for a bit of peace and want to enjoy a good meal in an authentic and welcoming context. Yes, we had a really good time and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

In my opinion it is one of the best farmhouses in the area.
The place is surrounded by bush and is located a few hundred meters above the sea in a valley a few kilometers inland, so in the evening you feel comfortable without suffering from the summer heat. The restaurant has an internal room, a veranda and outdoor tables on the lawn or on the gravel.
The table is set in a rustic way and a bottle of house wine (really very good, costs €5) and a carafe of water are immediately brought.
The menu is presented verbally and changes from day to day, offering what is fresh in the kitchen, the appetizer is made up of many small portions of typical hot and cold dishes (anchovy monacelle, parmigiana and aubergine meatballs, a mini arancino, fried courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta, as well as a platter of local cheeses and cured meats and many other things that change from time to time). The first is usually made up of two or three pasta proposals, also subject to change daily and always of exceptional goodness, the same can be said for the second courses even if, honestly speaking, it is difficult to get there since all the portions are very abundant and it is difficult to give up something. The prices are average even if they are not mentioned during the presentation of the menu (which by law should be done). The water and digestive are offered on the house.

In this beautiful farmhouse in Aiello Calabro in the Province of Cosenza, 500 meters from the sea above Amantea. We had a delicious group lunch. We tasted a house appetizer with cheese, flour and potato pancakes, olives, aubergines in the room, raw ham and homemade salami. A first course of trofie with cream of potatoes, sausage and mushrooms. Second course of roast potatoes and pork with rosbif. Jam, amaretti and ricotta tart. We were all happy!!! I recommend you go and see this farm.
