This restaurant is much better than your typical tourist restaurant. It's hard to find because it's located in a corner, but I definitely recommend you visit. The liver is not salty at all. We ordered bacon ravioli pasta, gnocchi, panna cotta and house fines and were all pleased. It was a shame that the portion was a little small, but it had a deeper flavor than other restaurants.

Wow. I’ve been living in Italy the last year and a half and I have never been to a restaurant like this before. It is absolutely amazing. Flavorful, high quality, and fulfilling food. Do not miss this place. Best restaurant in Florence and best restaurant of my experience in Italy.

Llevo viviendo en Italia 2 años, me encanta venir a Florencia (mi ciudad favorita en Italia) , fue recomendado este lugar por el dueño de una tienda de cartas y vaya. Genuinamente, esta fue la mejor comida que he tenido desde que me mudé aquí. ¿El caprese? El queso irreal y perfectamente condimentado nunca fue algo que pensé decir, pero lo dije. Un amigo consiguió esta cosa de los ravioles (honestamente ni idea de cómo se llamaba, pero era tan bueno. Nos dieron filete y estaba perfectamente sazonado y perfectamente carbonizado y perfectamente cocinado. No tenía un solo mal bocado de comida aquí. Tendré que volver a Florencia de nuevo solo para comer aquí de nuevo, si pudiera calificarlo con 10 estrellas de 5 lo haría.

The restaurant is simply perfect, quite discreet, in an alley a little far from the tourist bustle. But the cuisine is exquisite and the owner very friendly. If you are passing through Florence, this restaurant is definitely worth a detour.

Excelente lugar. Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una cena maravillosa en el restaurante IL Barroccio en Florencia. Teníamos filete florentino y raviolis con langosta y camarones. Fue genial. El postre también estaba delicioso. Gianni que es el propietario y el chef es una persona muy amable y agradable. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar. 5 de 5

28/01/2025: Tiny place in the heart of Florence. Food is ok. Price are right. Restaurant is little small. Get very loud easily. Stake is just right. Pasta aren’t that great. Good for informal meal.

23/11/2024: Apart from that the food is exquisite, and we received much more than we have ordered, we felt among friends. Claudio, his wife and the whole staff made us feel at home. They speak excellent english and even better german :) Will definitely come again. P.S. The best tiramisu in the Universe.
12/11/2024: Everything we tried was excellent! John travolta pasta and tiramisu are some of the best things I’ve ever tried! The staff are very kind and if you’re lucky enough to meet the owner like we did he is such a nice and funny guy!
