Il Barroccio In Firenze

Excelente lugar. Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una cena maravillosa en el restaurante IL Barroccio en Florencia. Teníamos filete florentino y raviolis con langosta y camarones. Fue genial. El postre también estaba delicioso. Gianni que es el propietario y el chef es una persona muy amable y agradable. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar. 5 de 5

I’m devastated that I only found this place at the very end of my Florence trip- wow! The restaurant may not look like much (I’m pretty sure we were the only ones dining at the time) but the food was incredible! The waitor was so friendly and we ended up talking about many topics for ~30 minutes after our bill was paid but the real star was the food. The caprese appetizer was lovely with the mozzarella tasting extremely fresh and the main dishes (gnocchiti/lobster ravioli) was excellent. Tasted incredibly authentic and my personal favorite pasta I’ve had in Italy yet. My only regret about this meal is that I wasn’t hungry enough to order a second course. The portions were fair for the price and if I had skipped lunch I would’ve been able to eat more. We wanted to come to the location again the following day for lunch however unfortunately they are closed Mondays. Highly recommend! A hidden gem for sure.

Very unassuming place, but my gosh the food 😍 so good. It wasn’t busy when we were there, but the service and food were truly delicious and a real surprise in the hustle of centro Firenze.

I don’t think you can find a better restaurant than this one in Florence. A gem in the middle of the city. Why? The food is the best. Mr. Giovanni, the owner and his wife, are true testaments to Italian cuisine. I recommend checking out this restaurant and I doubt you’ll find better tasting food with such high quality anywhere around the city.

We came back to this restaurant after 6 years and it didn’t disappoint. The gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and pistachios were still amazing. It seems like they are looking more after quality then quantity which is what we prefer. Desserts are homemade and not always available. The panna cotta was delicious. Don’t go to one of the restaurant at the plaza come here instead!

Auténtico chef / propietario italiano local. Lleva muchos años en la zona enorgulleciéndose tanto de sus platos. Gran relación calidad-precio y no te dejes llevar por ningún inglés en el menú, todo lo que queríamos saber fue explicado.

Such a perfect spot for a nice dinner that’s reasonably priced! The carbonara, florentine steak with parmesan, and tiramisu were delicious and perfect prepared. Highly recommend!

Bumped into this place and was fascinated by how amazing the food was, waiter was fantastic and super friendly! 10/10

It's really great. I came here after reading the reviews on Google Maps. I wanted to eat steak and red wine. Although I didn't understand the language, the boss recommended the steak with salad. It was delicious😋. The wine was also delicious. The first glass was not dry red. For the second cup, I ordered dry red wine, which tasted delicious.

It was so delicious. I recommend the lobster ravioli and panna cotta! I want to go again ㅜㅜ
