Wow. I’ve been living in Italy the last year and a half and I have never been to a restaurant like this before. It is absolutely amazing. Flavorful, high quality, and fulfilling food. Do not miss this place. Best restaurant in Florence and best restaurant of my experience in Italy.

The restaurant is simply perfect, quite discreet, in an alley a little far from the tourist bustle. But the cuisine is exquisite and the owner very friendly. If you are passing through Florence, this restaurant is definitely worth a detour.

Excelente lugar. Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una cena maravillosa en el restaurante IL Barroccio en Florencia. Teníamos filete florentino y raviolis con langosta y camarones. Fue genial. El postre también estaba delicioso. Gianni que es el propietario y el chef es una persona muy amable y agradable. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar. 5 de 5

Excellent food, cooked and served with passion and experience. Right Price. Competent and friendly staff. Attention to gluten-free. GF pasta available. Very recommended.

As previously mentioned, a gem in Florence among many touristy restaurants. Here you get value for money and more importantly; honest pure flavors. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

Auténtico chef / propietario italiano local. Lleva muchos años en la zona enorgulleciéndose tanto de sus platos. Gran relación calidad-precio y no te dejes llevar por ningún inglés en el menú, todo lo que queríamos saber fue explicado.

Everything that was recommended to us proved to be up to what he had described and better than what we would certainly have taken independently. The tartare made/composed on site is impressive, without taking away the exceptional meat. I will definitely return
