Underrated hidden gem for sure!! I will not ever come to Florence without having 1 or two or three meals here!! I have tried so many different dishes from appetizers to pasta and steak. The tiramisu is heavenly!! There is not a single thing served here that is not delicious! The owner is a wonderful man with a true passion for food along with his wife in the kitchen. If I lived in Florence I would be eating here weekly!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Perfect location and perfect food

If you are looking for an incredible food experience- where the owner waits on you and then goes to cook the food that you ordered with his lovely wife - than this is the place. Completely hidden.... Until dessert, our table of four were the only the ones in the restaurant... on a Saturday night. The service is amazing... the food is amazing and 100% home cooked. The cocktails are great- a little heavy on the alcohol but heck - you are on vacation so that's what you want. The gnocchi was amazing- my wife wouldn't let me lick the sauce off the plate for fear of embarrassing her. The appetizers were as fresh as I've ever had. Tomatoes seemed to be picked right off the vine before coming to our table. The tiramisu was unbelievable. Great ambiance as there was literally a church choir singing a few hundred meters from us that just added to the experience. Do yourself a favor. Come to this place and support Giovanni and his wife and their wonderful business

Giovanni was the best host. We were looking for somewhere off the tourist path and we found a gem. This place is authentic Florence. Food was amazing and the waiter / owner Giovanni was the best we experienced in Florence. The entire menu was is in Italian so you know it had to be good but it wasn’t good it was excellent. I’m vegetarian and he had great options for me.

Repas réussi. 39 ans de savoir-faire. Excellent. Traditionnel. Simple et efficace. Patron très sympathique. Je recommande !
