Delightful food, perfect, old school service, phenomenal Florentine steak, and delicious wine. I couldn't ask for more.

Delicious food at this small but authentic restaurant. The host is friendly, cheerful and speaks good English. He advises you on food and wine combinations. The menu is good and has a lot of choice. All dishes are well prepared. Definitely stop by here for a meal.

It was the most authentic restaurant in which i’ve ever gone. The food was just sublime and cheap according to the quality of the products. I could return at this restaurant every days. Grazie mille per questo momento !

Wonderful experience. It felt like a home cooked meal! The owner was so friendly and warm. One of the best restaurant experiences we have had in Italy. Highlights for me: The polenta with mushrooms and the tiramisu HIGHLY recommend

Osteria Santo Spirito

10/05/2025: Place discovered by chance at the end of the 90s... very pleasant surprise! Since then when I pass through Florence I book a table well in advance and strictly inside even if it is summer, I think I have sent over 200 people in recent years and everyone has been satisfied, the last ones sent for the long weekend of May 1st... very happy! Remember to book if you don't want to miss an opportunity to eat and drink well and above all genuine and characteristic.
10/05/2025: been here two times here is what i would suggest come here 20 mins before its opens because at some point when we srrived at 7:37 we had to wait till 8:39pm , an hour to get table inside. Outside is okay. Gnocchi was super nice the first time. I dont know bcs of the rush the second time it tasted different and somehow wasn't just the same. Taglietelle al ragu is big, nice option. I would say Lasagna good be nice. The food comes out fast so thats good after waiting in line for so long
