Il Baretto In Roma

My wife and I stopped in for dinner when walking back to our hotel. We ordered some bruschetta and red wine and a Diavolo pizza and everything was very good. The staff are all very friendly and seem really happy to work there. We did not have any issues or complaints about this place. The bill was €31.00 which was reasonable and fine. They gave us each a Limoncello at the end of the meal which was also really good.

We ordered a coffee and a Coke, a slice of cake, and two cannoli. The cake was delicious, with a wonderful pastry and just the right amount of jam—not too sweet. The cannoli were a bit soft and the flavor wasn't anything special. It wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere was very quiet and pleasant. The waitress who greeted us upon arrival was very friendly and efficient. The waiter who charged us on our way out overcharged us (the price of the pastries on the counter didn't match the price on the bill). We didn't complain, though. The total came to about €27.

Very nice and quick breakfast also the price was reasonable, for example the breakfast for 7 people cost us 75 €, I will come again whenever I visit Rome next time.

The coffee and breakfast were great. It's an expensive place, but it's cheap for the area.

No nonsense bar service or sit and enjoy the street or dining room. Tasty selection for a meal or a snack - perfect coffee.

Review for Café Il Baretto We visited Café Il Baretto today, and unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. When we tried to order at the counter, the employee was extremely rude and unfriendly, informing us that orders could only be placed at a table. Her tone and manner were truly inappropriate – this is no way to treat guests. It's a shame, because the food and coffee were really good. With friendlier staff, the visit would certainly have been much more enjoyable.

I was there eating a couple of tapas and some drinks, but honestly, I didn't like the service at all. They weren't attentive at all; they were just on their phones and dancing around. The food was just okay. In the end, I asked for the bill, and when I was going to pay by card, the guy said you could only pay at the bar. I wouldn't recommend visiting.
