A unique place, near the Future End Nature campsite. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The lunch menu is always varied, including traditional dishes, including excellent agnolotti, plin, and pasta dishes. The main courses, seasonally adapted, and the desserts are excellent. It's worth stopping by, even for pilgrims.

Tried it on August 10, 2025. Beautiful location on the Serra. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent appetizers and wonderful main courses. Reasonable price. Recommended.

Beautiful place, excellent cuisine.

We ate here for dinner during the Oropa walk and had a great time: friendly staff, easy-to-digest pizza, and the owner even left us two cookies as a pilgrim gift. We highly recommend it!

First course, second course, side dish, water, medium beer, and coffee for €15. Not much else to say: excellent service, a friendly owner, and simple yet delicious cuisine. The photo shows the meat sauce delicacies, but I also recommend the sausage with potatoes and spinach.

We went to Barbamatto for a get-together dinner with friends, a fairly large group of 25. I understand that managing such a large table is not easy, but unfortunately the wait between courses was incredibly long: even though we had all chosen the set menu to facilitate service, we still had to wait an hour between courses. We arrived at 8:30 PM and only finished with coffee and liqueurs around 11:30 PM, leaving just before midnight. That said, the restaurant is worth it: the setting is surrounded by greenery, very pleasant, with a truly enchanting outdoor area. The cuisine is simple, authentic, with home-style dishes and adequate portions. Despite some scheduling issues, I will definitely return: the atmosphere and the quality of the food are worth a second visit 😁
