On a Sunday in September, while out on a motorcycle, we stumbled upon this small restaurant. At first glance, it doesn't make a great impression, as it's located in a less central and tidy area. As soon as we entered, we felt like we'd been transported to a completely different place. The place was clean, tidy, and the owner was friendly. We sat down, the table carefully set, and the roses were freshly picked. The menu isn't your typical all-you-can-eat, as it's quite limited, but everything is freshly made in-house by the owner's daughter. The ravioli are superb. :) The place filled up quickly, and since it's family-run, there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. The all-you-can-eat menu is €12.

This place is a rare gem and truly lives up to its name. When we want to pamper ourselves and eat good sushi, we always choose to come here. Ikigai is a small restaurant, a special place where Maria's care, kindness, and attention shine through in every aspect. It's not your typical impersonal all-you-can-eat sushi, so yes, you might have to wait a little longer (nothing tragic), but it's worth it. Not only for the food (the gyoza and aburi are delicious!), which is definitely above average, but also for the service and the atmosphere, which is very romantic for a dinner for two. You'll always find candles and flowers on the table, everything arranged with extreme grace and simplicity.
In short, you eat well and have a great time.

A very pleasant surprise in San Sepolcro
A little place run by a mother and daughter who serve only freshly cooked food, not the usual Asian-style groceries found in nearly 90% of restaurants.

We went for lunch as a couple on a Sunday and were immediately surprised by the empty restaurant. Aside from that, lunch lasted 50 minutes despite ordering only a few items.
The portions were small and the plating was done in a hasty manner (as you can see in the photo), which is a shame because the dishes were actually good.
We paid 12 euros each for the set menu, including drinks.
Overall, the restaurant is nice and the owner is kind and helpful, but I hope they can improve, especially in the portions and plating.
