21/01/2025: Calling it a refuge is not very correct. In a shelter you stay warm inside. Prices are too high. A tiny tray of chips that literally fits in half your hand, four euros...for crescentina they actually give a tiny tigella...these prices are unjustified given that it is a place easily accessible by car so it really doesn't take anything to bring the raw material. The wait wasn't too long because there were only two people there anyway and it's great that it's also open in winter. Unfortunately we had an extremely foggy day so we will return to enjoy the walk and the view more.

12/09/2024: A truly beautiful little place, where you can enjoy a good lunch surrounded by the beautiful greenery of Abetone, along an imaginary line that divides Emilia from Tuscany
