Excellent dinner with all the dishes from an old kitchen

I have no words to describe the quality, the hospitality, and the atmosphere of this little restaurant. A gem. We had Halloween dinner there. It was a uniquely delicious Halloween-themed dinner, and what can I say about the wine? The atmosphere is welcoming, the owners are friendly and kind, and the food is divine. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the excellent cuisine, the good wine, and the hospitality.

We went to this restaurant on October 12th, but only after a few weeks did I decide to write this review. Alas, I wanted to write a good review, but that's not the case. Let's start with the fact that, despite having a reservation, we were a bit cramped, but that's okay because we know how to make do. Then, later, we had to move to allow other diners to be more spaced out, but that's okay because we know how to make do. We waited a very long time for our appetizers (one piece each for three people), which, mind you, were all good, except for the meatball sauce, which was a bit thick. We had to wait a very long time for the first courses. The Genovese was good, but not wow-worthy; the tagliatelle with mushrooms, which my wife said were good. The ragù was a bit thick, and watery. Finally, an unremarkable tiramisu and a decent enough babà. All this, I repeat, after the exhausting waits and the dishes that were absolutely not wow-worthy, with a very high bill. The only thing that stood out was the owner's friendliness and kindness, but everything else wasn't very good for us and we believe it was our last time here. We hope the owner will continue to improve and, above all, expand the place or accept fewer reservations and, finally, review the prices!!!

I would describe this place as the "cradle of good food," the true, traditional Neapolitan kind. Mr. Gabriele welcomes diners with kindness and courtesy. Special mention goes to the Genovese, a true feast for the palate... a culinary odyssey!

Saturday, September 27th, lunch, table for 10. We started with a very rich appetizer, followed by excellent first courses and fresh homemade pasta. We chose to continue with excellent cuts of meat and finished with homemade desserts. Excellent and warm service. Clean cuisine and home-made flavors. We will definitely be back.
