I re d'Egitto In Firenze

Very fast, friendly, courteous and everything is delicious and at unheard of prices in the center of Florence, especially in the station area. I think 5 stars are due. Honorable mention for the Falafel!

Without a doubt the best kebab in Florence, by far. Finally a proper kebab, with meat marinated on site and Arabic bread. The excellent sauces are artisanal. Paradise for all the people whose nightmare is the terrible frozen doner kebab which is now found in 99% of places. I missed a place like this.

I had the opportunity to experience firsthand the exhilaration of the experience of this place and their quality, combined with friendliness and love for the work. Thank you very much for the chips offered and the always present smile

Excellent kebab, CHICKEN SPIT MADE BY THEM and very tasty (I only know of them in all of Florence who use an artisanal skewer). Vast choice of ingredients... including sauces and vegetables (always produced by them).. you are truly spoiled for choice.. Note of merit: THEY CUT THE MEAT WITH THE KNIFE, making the kebab bites "chubby" and pleasant to chew. Very kind staff!! The only negative note is the piadina.. but above all the sandwich...NOO those in a bag and a really small sandwich..it's a shame otherwise it would truly be an excellent kebab... These negative aspects are compensated by the quality of the meat and all the positive aspects that I listed above. FOR NOW DEFINITELY THE BEST KEBAB IN FLORENCE🥇.

주인 아저씨가 친절하고 케밥이 맛있어요. 소스랑 재료 뭐 넣을건지도 물어보면 잘 설명해주셔요. 역이랑 가까워서 점심으로 간단하게 먹거나 포장해가기 좋아요. 가격은 개당 6유로 정도 해요.

family atmosphere and fast service. excellent food and you can feel the freshness of the product. super recommended

I was having falafel with my mom the other day (in the US) and I was saying, "this is pretty good, but the best falafel I ever had was that place in Florence. That place was so great. I wonder if it's still there..." I did study abroad in Florence for 9 months over 30 years ago and I made sure to bring my mom to get falafel when she visited me, because it was that good. All I remembered was that it was Egyptian and was near Santa Maria Novella. I googled it and here it is. I guess I shouldn't be surprised it's still around, anyplace that great would surely stay in business. I'm not an expert on middle eastern food by any stretch, but I have lived in NYC, Paris, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC--all places with great international food options--and Re d'Egitto is hands down the best falafel I've ever had.

Very good kebab, made by them, not industrial

Food is good for late night cravings. We ordered the chicken and rice, which includes some sides of your choice, veggies, and a bit of fries with some sauces of your preference. They also serve shawarma and drinks. Good price as well. Dining is decent size if you're planning to eat there!
