On day 6 of our trip to Italy, when I was getting sick of that damn flour-based food, I really wanted some chicken, so I stumbled into a kebab shop. The local atmosphere was amazing, and I ordered half a chicken with fried rice and vegetables for 10 euros and brought it back to our hotel. Honestly, it was better than the 200 euros I've spent at Italian restaurants. My wife and I shared it, and it was huge, filling, and delicious! I'm planning to go back tomorrow and try the kebab. The service was excellent. I just had it, and I want to try it again... On our 6th day in Italy, just when we were getting sick of all the flour-based dishes, we stumbled upon a small kebab shop. We’re planning to go back tomorrow to try their kebab too. The owner was super friendly, and everything was great. I just finished eating, but I already want more! Al sesto giorno del nostro viaggio in Italia, proprio quando eravamo stanchi di tutti i piatti a base di farina, siamo capitati per caso in un piccolo kebabbaro. L’atmosfera locale era fantastica, così abbiamo ordinato mezzo pollo con riso fritto e verdure per soli 10 euro e l’abbiamo portato in hotel. Onestamente, era molto più buono dei ristoranti italiani dove avevamo speso 200 euro! L’ho condiviso con mia moglie: porzioni abbondanti, sapore ottimo, davvero perfetto. Domani torneremo per provare anche il loro kebab. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile, tutto eccellente. Ho appena finito di mangiare, ma ne ho già voglia di nuovo!

Delicious food at great prices. The falafel was very fresh and the choice of salad excellent.

Among the best kebabs I've ever eaten... undoubtedly the best in Florence, and very easy to get to. The quality of the meat and the seasonings are generally top-notch.

Delicious takeaway food, especially the shawarma. there were good vegetarian options such falafel as well.

We had the chicken doner wrap at I Re d'Egitto and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and full of flavor, the wrap was fresh, and the portion was satisfying. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the service was fast. A great spot in Florence for a quick and tasty meal. Highly recommended!

Visited on 8 June 2025 (Day 2/16) An amazing and timely find upon arrival in Florence. Located just a stone’s throw from the train station and right beneath my BnB, this spot was a pleasant surprise. The set menu prices seemed almost too good to be true—very affordable with generous portions and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The food was tasty, and there’s a cosy dining area at the back with warm decor and thoughtful renovations that added to the charm. Highly recommended for a convenient and satisfying meal in the city!
