They were underground prisons where criminals were taken. Now I Piombi are closed for bureaucratic reasons, who knows if one day they will reopen them, maybe even just as a museum to visit. I hope so.

23/12/2024: Historic sandwich shop, very rustic and easy-going, excellent for an evening with friends. Great variety of sandwiches, bruschetta, piadine, plus some hot dishes. We took a platter of cold cuts, all delicious. Excellent value for money and very friendly manager.
