I stumbled upon it by chance thanks to a detour from the highway... Fantastic! Super friendly owners, divine food 😋😋 The potato tortelli with lampredotto sauce were excellent, as was the sweet schiacciata with cream that was calling to me from the display case 😋😋
Too bad I couldn't wash it all down with a good wine because I had to get back on the road 🚘

Stopped in on a roadtrip between Bologna and Firenza. We were very pleasantly surprized. This little family restaurant serves great food and great prices. More importantly, the entire staff were wonderful hosts. Could not have asked for a better experience.

We stopped for lunch to grab a bite to eat after returning from vacation. It's a truly excellent place for something quick and rustic, but well-made. All topped off with the Tuscan warmth of the family who runs it. The potato tortelli were especially excellent 😋, super tasty.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The food was excellent, and the ravioli made by the grandmother herself are highly recommended. The atmosphere was super friendly.
The location is okay, but it's manageable.

We ate here with our family.
The sandwiches were awesome. Lampredetto is a must try. Porchetta is tasty, but no crunchy skin.
The pastas were quite disappointing. The potato. Filled pasta was quite bland and extremely filling.
They offered us dessert at the end. We didn’t want or ordered it. But they put it on the table.
When we asked for the bill it was a very expensive dessert.
Tasty, but NOT at that price.
Without the dessert price would be more reasonable.
Great place for lunch near the outlet.

The best place for a quick stop. Fast, friendly service. We had the schiacciata with lampredotto, and it was a 10!

There are no words to describe it! The schiacciata with lampredotto is from another planet, and the porchetta...let's not even talk about it!! Next time we'll be back for the tortelli with lampredotto.
Just off the Barberino exit, so super convenient if you're traveling!
Oh...try grandma's desserts, they'll take you back to childhood!

Se un piatto tipico toscano vuoi assaggiare, da " 'l panino da benzina" ti devi recare.
Gustosi primi, prelibati secondi e succulenti taglieri puoi ordinare, ma anche la schiacciata toscana non è da sottovalutare. E poi c'è il panino al lampredotto, una gioia per il palato, ovviamente super consigliato!
Se passi da Barberino, corri subito qui a riempire il tuo pancino!
