Let me first make a small introduction: we are talking about a historical business that was already famous since the time when the French husband and wife couple first founded it, becoming an institution in Cagliari, not only for the goodness of the famous and excellent "African Sandwiches" but because they had the secret recipe of the spicy sauce with which they were seasoned. Their kindness and their smile made you feel at home, and the sound of the gentleman's trumpet every now and then accompanied the customers' wait before enjoying the sandwich. All of this always very welcome. Having said this, after the death of the lord, his wife did not want to continue and thus decided to entrust the management of the place to the new owners, handing down the sauce recipe to them on the condition that it remained secret forever. Today, after more than 20 years, I was able to savor the famous sandwich again, and I must say that it is always delicious, hot at the right point and accompanied by fresh ingredients. The place has been modernized but the air that you breathe still reminds us of the old style from which it was born, and the welcome from the girls is always with a smile and kindness.
