Excellent place, highly recommended in Bitritto. A pizzeria run by young, very polite, friendly, and enthusiastic people! Cleanliness and the aroma of local pizza are the perfect backdrop to your evenings at "I Mattarelli"! The kindness and smile of the girl at the cash register complement the pizzas, already excellent and varied, with a special added ingredient!!!

Besides, I've known this guy since I was little and he's good. Then I had a Ciccio with mushrooms, artichokes, olives, and capers... Holy cow... Delicious! Good flavor, nice and crunchy, the Ciccio, and it tasted like pizza. Not like other places where you eat a flying saucer. The pizza here was really good! Bravo 👏

We're from Bulgaria. We spent the night in the beautiful town of Bitrito. We've eaten at the pizzeria several times. The pizza is extremely tasty. The prices are good, and the staff is very friendly.

Authentic Italian pizza ~ Enthusiastic waiter, we ordered four pizzas, and my favorite was the tuna and onion pizza. The atmosphere of the whole store was so good ~ it made me feel like I was back in Greece. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful evening!

We're from Argentina, exploring Puglia, and staying on the outskirts of Bari in Sannicandro di Bari. We went out to eat and discovered this excellent pizzeria. We tried the four-cheese pizzeria and the mortazza, and both were incredible. I highly recommend the friendliness of both the chefs and the lady who served the cashier and took orders. Highly recommended, and the atmosphere in the square 50 meters away on a Thursday is surreal, a beautiful experience!

25/08/2025: The Gallo Nero restaurant really surprised me. It's located near the beaches. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I had the opportunity to eat there twice during my stay in Monopoli and I noticed that this restaurant has fair prices, unlike the high prices of most restaurants here. They offer traditional dishes and more! The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The speed of the service is perfect; you don't have to wait hours and enjoy your dinner. The restaurant is also well-maintained, tidy, clean, accessible, quiet, and very romantic. I will recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Monopoli!

23/08/2025: The people who recommended this place to me had told me I'd eat well, but everything exceeded my expectations. The appetizers were varied and delicious, with dishes that tasted of tradition but were clearly enriched by careful research. The first course was also delicious, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. The truffle was not only noticeable but also visible in abundance, which is anything but a given these days. All for a more than fair price. Last but not least, the quality of the service: the waiters were more than attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.
