Latini – Italian Tradition with Soul 🇮🇹🍷 A place where you can experience the true Italian way of life. The cuisine impresses with fresh, lovingly prepared dishes bursting with flavor – down-to-earth, authentic, and perfectly cooked. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion that goes into every plate. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, perfect for a convivial evening. The service was friendly, attentive, and warm, making you feel instantly welcome. A restaurant you'll remember and gladly return to.

Good food, even if not everything is available. I think it's a shame for a meat restaurant not to have chicken available even though it's featured prominently on the menu.

I'll start by saying I went here once before a couple of years ago and had a good impression, even though it was a quick visit. I remember ordering a meat-based menu, even though they're a full-service restaurant. My expectations weren't disappointed. -Location: Various, soft, welcoming, and not very large rooms, all of which are high-quality, leaving room for the minimalist black decor and allowing glimpses of the original wall of the typical Salento building, creating a beautiful play of light and shadow. -Service: Excellent. The very kind waiter who served us was there the whole time, explaining in detail the dishes we didn't understand. -Food: It was just as I remembered it, gourmet dishes, two delicious appetizers: zucchini flowers with ricotta and fried egg. The meat was excellent, cooked to perfection, both the Black Angus, and the Bombette alla carbonara were spectacular (they bring two, but they're worth it, trust me). - Price: 1 glass of wine, still water, 2 appetizers, 2 main courses (the Black Angus beef increased the price), plus 1 dessert, we came to around 90 euros. Quality comes at a price! Conclusions: A delicious, all-round sensory experience, whether you're bringing your partner to impress or with friends (not too many) and digging into truly special dishes, crafted with attention to every detail, in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Since I haven't tried the main courses, I can't comment, but I must say I'd return to try them. Last but not least... it's the only time in my life I've eaten a creep cake with so many layers of creep that I couldn't finish digging my fork into it (photo attached).

Visited Il Latino in Lecce with a group of travel agents while exploring Southern Italy. Incredible fresh, local dishes, beautifully prepared, with warm and personal service. The atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and upscale. A must-visit in Lecce.
