The restaurant is in a quiet, charming area of Florence. The atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful, truly Tuscan. I had the pappardelle with ragù and the pappa al pomodoro. Everything was delicious and high-quality. The ragù, in my opinion, is among the best in Florence, without a doubt. I highly recommend it.

A good, typical Tuscan restaurant. The restaurant has two fairly spacious rooms, and the staff was very friendly. They seated us even though it was past 10:30, and the food was truly delicious. The mixed antipasto was very varied, and we particularly enjoyed the liver pâté. My boyfriend's chicken was a little dry in places, but the meat was very flavorful, and the cinta was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The only negative was that the cinta was supposed to have sweet potatoes on the side, but in reality it was just three chips. All in all, we had a good evening.

Faccio davvero fatica a trovare un difetto sulla cena di stasera al Giuggiolo. L'abbiamo scoperto per caso ma la sorte ci ha dato una mano, consentendoci di provare un buon ristorante fiorentino. Abbiamo davvero apprezzato i piatti che ci sono stati serviti, tra l'altro con grande simpatia, da una graziosa ragazza di nome Sara, perfetta nel suo ruolo. Sul menu ha spiccato una splendida tartare tagliata al coltello e ben presentata, anche se il top sono stati gli gnocchi al branzino, per i quali ho voluto chiedere la ricetta allo chef. Nel complesso siamo rimasti soddisfatti, per cui torneremo qui sicuramente, appena possibile.

Avevo degli amici della Valle d'Aosta in città per il Taste, quindi gente che col cibo ha dimestichezza. Dove li porto a respirare un po' di fiorentinità e a fare bella figura? Al Giuggiolo, senza ombra di dubbio nonostante abbia letto delle recensioni (ingiustificate) che mi hanno fatto accapponare la pelle! I coccoli sono sempre loro, 6 a testa per l'esattezza con una piattata di prosciutto e stracchino; le tartare e i pici sono stati spolverati, il baccalà si scioglieva in bocca ed era perfetto di sale, il coniglio ripieno a detta loro strepitoso! Dolci deliziosi, io sono un patito della cheesecake fredda. Conto nella norma ma quello che apprezzo tanto è che è un ristorante di fiorentini, per i fiorentini, con i fiorentini...e a Firenze è raro. Una garanzia top

Ristorante Pizzeria Ponterosso

18/07/2025: We stumbled upon Ponte Rosso while exploring the area and decided to dine there. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the charming Italian chef, who is also featured on the restaurant's posters. Once inside, we found an authentic restaurant with a friendly staff who spoke excellent English and gave us a warm welcome. We were invited to sit on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. The menu is diverse and full of delicious dishes. We chose the coccoli, salami pizza, quattro formaggi pizza, and spaghetti carbonara, which were all absolutely delicious. For dessert, we had the caramel and chocolate cheesecake, which was also excellent. The locally brewed specialty honey beer is also highly recommended! If you're looking for fresh, authentic, and delicious Italian dishes, you've definitely come to the right place.
