09/10/2025: We spent a day in Narni exploring the city.
We found this place by chance.
We were very pleased. The staff was very kind. The dishes were plentiful, very tasty, and carefully prepared.
The atmosphere was quaint: well-kept and pleasant.
01/10/2025: We took a day trip to Narni, and after trying several restaurants and seeing that the food options were the same everywhere, at the same prices, we opted for this one purely because it was close (we were hungry and it was close by 😁). We chose two starters: manfricoli cacio e pepe and fettuccine with wild boar ragù, and for the main course, guinea fowl baked in a baking dish with crostini. The cacio e pepe was decent, nothing exceptional, perhaps not enough pepper for my taste, but still good; the fettuccine was excellent, the wild boar ragù was very flavorful and you could taste the goodness of the meat; the pasta was homemade. The guinea fowl wasn't bad, perhaps too much liver pâté, which can be annoying after a while, and a little too dry, but it's a lean meat and that's okay; the flavor was excellent anyway! For drinks, we had two glasses of wine, because you don't need half-liters or quarts, and where to drive.... The only sore point was the service....slow and confusing....they served us a first course along with the second course; once we pointed this out, they came back with the two first courses, and they must have kept the guinea fowl warm and brought it back again....anyway, almost half an hour passed between the first courses and the second course...a bit too long.....overall, though, a full pass!
