I Due Monelli In Monza

Good pizza but limited menu with few dessert choices

Good local pizza, welcoming and friendly staff

I ate an excellent Neapolitan pizza, cooked to perfection and soft to the end.

I recently went to I Due Monelli and found the Neapolitan pizza truly excellent. The ingredients were fresh and the cooking perfect and the dough light and easily digestible. However, the service was quite slow, waiting around an hour, even though the place wasn't crowded. I believe this is due to a shortage of staff or a slow pace in the kitchen. Furthermore, I noticed unprofessional behavior from the waitress towards a rider who was waiting outside. This detail left me a little perplexed, as did the excessive price for the desserts, especially the sorbet. Overall, the quality of the pizza is definitely worth a visit, but I hope they improve the service and attitude towards all the workers.

Parto dal presupposto di essere soddisfatto. Manca però di quel qualcosa in più...magari la mia scelta di pizza non è stata felice (ho preso una carbonara in cui la crema di uovo era particolarmente cotta da stonare un po' ed appesantire il tutto). Le pizze si presentano molto bene, con un bel cornicione alto e soffice. I costi sono allineati a quelli che si trovano adesso (9/10€ a pizza). Buono anche il dolce, anche se non ho trovato particolarmente piacevoli i semini dei frutti rossi usati per la coulis di guarnizione della cheesecake (meglio filtrare tutto con un colino?). Ci torneremo per un secondo parere.

A place with a simple and informal but welcoming atmosphere. The pizza and dessert were very good. Fast service, also because the place wasn't crowded (it was a weekday).

Pizzeria spartana in Monza, ambiente cordiale e gentile. Le pizze che abbiamo mangiato non erano però all'altezza delle recensioni che leggo su tripadvisor. Forse era una serata no, da riprovare

Very good pizzas, excellent ingredients. However, if you want to enjoy it in peace, it is better to go between Monday and Friday. I went on a Saturday night and there was too much noise (you even struggle to hear the voice of the person in front of you). Compared to the service, perhaps one more person would be needed to help, at least on the weekend.

Congratulations guys!!! 💯 Classic Neapolitan pizza with high and soft edges. Dough made to perfection by Antonio: light and digestible. Excellent quality products used. I tried the Pizza Regina with buffalo mozzarella....what can I say...fantastic! 😋 Various selections of beers: I paired the pizza with the N'ARTIGIANA ORO beer produced by the Neapolitan Craft Brewery.... delicate and very balanced aroma👏. The table service: Gianluca very nice and Mary helpful and friendly 🤗. Parking is a little difficult but doing a few laps is really worth it 😉. It's best to book as they don't have much seating. I'll be back soon to try more. 🤩🤩🤩
