Arrived after 9pm with two small dogs. We were welcomed with great sympathy and kindness. They found us a table away from another dog because ours were agitated. We ate a good pizza and the prices are really honest. If it wasn't closed for rest on Monday we would have returned tomorrow too. Very kind waiters. Unfortunately I didn't have cash to leave a tip.

It seems excessive to me to charge €2 cover charge for a teaspoon and a plate dusted with cocoa. There were two of us, we only had a creme brulee, a tiramisu and a coffee (without drinks and/or napkins). It seemed a little ridiculous to me that for what was served, we had to pay €2 cover charge per person.

Sinceramente lo trovo un buon locale, con servizio giovane e gentile e pizze ottime. Molto spazio sia dentro che fuori ed ottima location per grandi gruppi e feste di compleanno. Non c'ero mai stato prima della scorsa estate (una volta era prevalentemente una bisteccheria) e ci ho organizzato il compleanno di mio figlio. Lo consiglio.

Very quiet environment suitable for a typical dinner or a Sunday lunch like ours. The service wasn't exactly impeccable, sometimes missing the table but all in all the experience was good! Same thing for the food: quality and good flavour, even if nothing extremely sophisticated. My radicchio, speck and walnut risotto was really well done. The tiramisu was super appreciated, with a truly exceptional cream!

We arrived on a Sunday for lunch without a reservation and were welcomed in a professional and very kind manner. All good, good dishes and quality meat, congratulations. Thanks again for hosting us at the last minute 🙏🏼 ADVISED.

I'll start by saying that I will return when the weather allows for outdoor dining (nice terrace). The restaurant has a very large room where at the entrance we also find the pizzeria counter. The menu offers many varieties of meat, fish (frozen) and pizzas. Good wine list. The food was good even if the meat was overcooked for me, but overall I enjoyed it. Fair prices. Nice staff. Outside there are games for children.

Spacious place just outside the historic center, better in summer for me because it has a nice outdoor terrace where you can dine and there is a play park for children you can eat meat, fish and pizzas, excellent wines to accompany the dishes, generous portions, average quality, price suitable for everything

20/09/2024: Siao capitati in una sera dove , causa serata karaoke , facevano solo la pizza.....che dire, pizza pessima...si salvano le birre che sono buone.
09/09/2024: We went to the "Villa del Borgo" pizzeria restaurant at the end of August. We ate outside, on the advice of Elena and Giacomo, we had a great time because it was ventilated and shaded. We ate well and abundantly. I thank Elena and Giacomo for their kindness and availability.

Antica Pescheria Sassetti

30/06/2024: Unfortunately, I am reviewing last time's 5-star rating downwards. They gave us a separate table on the street next to one of the doors where cars were passing by 1 meter away, many of them with zero euro diesels! (If you don't have room when you book just say so). An unpleasant fishy smell came from inside. The food wasn't bad although the tempura cod was soaked in oil and the tagliolini lacked a bit of kick. Good service even if just one waiter running back and forth isn't enough... you're almost afraid to ask him for toothpicks. Sin. A more than positive experience both for the quality of the raw materials and for the workmanship. Attentive and pleasant service. Among those visited in Casciana, this restaurant stands out completely from the others! I don't know what the count is... I haven't finished dinner yet... but when you feel good it's relative!
