I hadn't had lunch here in a long time and we confirmed the delicious lunch again, I also recommend the caramel cheesecake, an explosion of flavors.

A fantastic experience, we are 16 with a reservation. As soon as we arrived, the welcome from Sergio Davide and Gina was fabulous. They made us sit down and immediately served us an extraordinary amuse-bouche, the chef knows how to do it, accompanied by a glass of prosecco. We ordered the appetizers, the very fresh raw fish was served and with its combinations it surprised us, then we moved on to the cooked dishes which were also delicious, in particular the grilled octopus which was served with a delicious and fragrant smoked sauce. We moved on to the first courses, a journey of flavors that chef Dario made us try, the unique and inimitable risotto, then, not to mention the linguine with sea urchins and red prawns, an extraordinary dish, you can hear every note. Then we moved on to the desserts: babà rated 10, pistachio and chocolate tart, exceptional, the cheesecake.

Excellent in every way, from quality to cleanliness. The staff were friendly and polite, and didn't make you wait long. I personally complimented the chef. They were excellent in every way, and I recommend them to anyone who can. We ate all the high-quality fish.

An excellent experience, from every perspective. I've had the pleasure of being a guest at I Cavaddari over the past few years on several sporadic occasions, and they've only continued to grow. I'd like to share my most recent experience with them here: I celebrated an event with my family, about thirty people in total. The dining room staff assisted us every step of the way in preparing the event, from logistical aspects, which were beyond the restaurant's responsibility, to the smallest details regarding table arrangements, menus, and event planning. A special mention goes to Davide, who always provided impeccable advice, demonstrating availability and professionalism at every opportunity, truly making a difference. It should also be noted that the service was never influenced by any previous friendships or acquaintances; we were treated impeccably despite being "unknown" guests to the establishment and not known repeat guests. This aspect is not to be taken for granted and is a credit to the staff. Perfectly balanced menu, exquisite food, and a perfect wine selection. The overall quality of the service was definitely above standard (and frankly, even above the asking price. The experience was truly worth every penny; I've paid much more in establishments far below this one). Thanks also to Simona, who assisted us throughout the evening with impeccable service. Stunning location, a contemporary gourmet menu drawing on traditional Sicilian ingredients, in the splendid setting of Santa Caterina, nestled within the ancient walls of the village overlooking the sea. Just steps away, the Piazzetta Belvedere, a unique spot, ideal for a post-dinner stroll. Highly trained staff, excellent food and wines, stunning location. What more can I say? Absolute excellence in Catania cuisine. If you're in the area or planning an event, you're sure to find something here.

I want to share our experience at this restaurant with everyone. We celebrated a family event for 18 people, and everyone, young and old, was delighted with the service: the fish was delicious, the cooked and raw fish appetizers delighted even the most discerning palates, and the first courses were a true delight. The dishes were carefully presented, the service was fast and precise, and the staff were very friendly. It was an excellent culinary experience, and we highly recommend it.

Nice restaurant, I recommend booking before going, the food is good but in my opinion I've had better and cheaper meals in the area.

I am so appreciate to your warm help for our teams safe return to hotel in late night. As this is my first trip to Sicily, I have no idea on Sicily's great food. I order some dishes and share with my friends, and we are surprised to the freshness and richness of the foods and high level of decorations, service and wine pairing. The amuse-bouche and welcome drink is perfect. This is real gourmet dinning, and I regret to miss your full course dinner. I will revisit your restaurant and enjoy it later. The price is very much affordable!

I had been many times at the Cavaddari in the past during my visits to Sicily. This one was disappointing. Pasta overcooked and with no taste, there was too much noise, children running everywhere like in a kindergarten. They have changed decoration and the place has lost its character and personality. Staff polite and service good. What a pity…

Pesce fresco e buono, cucinato bene. Ambiente bello eravamo all'aperto. Servizio buono ma non eccezionale. Serviti quasi subito con stuzzichini e antipasto ma poi troppa attesa del primo e del secondo.
