I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and chose the full tasting menu with the wine pairing. The service was excellent and the food was truly well prepared – refined and delicious throughout the eight courses. However, the experience felt unbalanced: there was simply too much food, while the wine servings were disappointingly small for the price. At €80 for the pairing, I expected more generous pours and a smoother flow between wines. The pre-dinner glass of champagne (€20) was also surprisingly small. Overall, a fine restaurant with great service and food, but the value and proportions could be improved.

Great find in Bologna. Ended up booking this during my honeymoon with my wife and they went above and beyond to make the experience special. Went with the tasting menu set by the kitchen and was impressed with the mix of traditional and more experimental modern ones as well. Service was a standout with the servers working more as a team- in particular Andrea took the time to discuss some of the history of the restaurant with us which was super cool.

Lovely atmosphere. Well spaced tables and recently renovated premises. Service was very friendly and waiters provided great suggestions for wines and also informed us of each dish as they were presented. Nice touches reflecting local ingredients. Food overall was interesting and well done, although one or two dishes were somewhat bland in my opinion. There were complementary starters, palate cleansers and post dessert petit fours.

We spent a romantic evening accompanied by delicious dishes, carefully prepared down to the smallest detail.
The refreshing basil and gherkin sorbet concluded the dinner beautifully.
The service was excellent; compliments to the charming and friendly waiters.
It's a shame the frescoed room was closed for renovations.

Very high-end restaurant. In the end, the bill isn't much higher than in a restaurant that charges for the location (at the foot of a cathedral, on the waterfront, etc.) and here, we really enjoy ourselves.

The food is of very good quality, well prepared, with original recipes and full of flavor. We have small quantities of food yet we are more hungry at the end of the dish, it's perfect! Coffees, small starters, loaves of bread, aperitif baguettes, small chocolates and sugar pastes are offered. The prices are therefore justified especially for a chic restaurant well located with a very beautiful interior decoration. Just one small flaw: when asking for a bottle of water we are each served a bottom of water and we pay the price of the entire bottle even if it is not entirely used. The price of water is therefore expensive and we end up at 6€ per bottom of water for the table.

For a special occasion, we enjoyed this excellent cuisine.
The service was very attentive and even spoke French.
The explanations of the dishes and the wine pairings were appreciated.
The tasting went perfectly. The dishes referenced icons of Italian gastronomy.
I highly recommend it and hope to return to discover other dishes.

Partiamo innanzitutto dalla location,un meraviglioso salotto con affreschi offerti dai Carracci,fenomenali artisti bolognesi di un tempo.
Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione “La Dotta,la Grassa,la Rossa” che ritrae perfettamente la storia cittadina,dove il cibo è cultura e godimento.
La terrina di mortadella e i tortellini con crema di parmigiano stagionato ventiquattro mesi rimarranno per sempre nei miei ricordi,il tutto abbinato ad un servizio eccellente.
Ottima carta dei vini,queste sono esperienze che segnano in positivo.
