I Bodega In Abbadia lariana

Near Lecco, hidden behind a bridge. The dining room is inside a large glass building with a few well-spaced tables. The menu offers a limited selection, but the quality/price ratio is good. Reservations are required because once the room is full, they won't accept anyone else, either before or after.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. They offer various tasty polenta options accompanied by pork shank, mushrooms, roast beef, and osso buco. Fresh pasta is also available as a first course. Excellent lavaret in basil sauce. The outdoor veranda offers a beautiful view of the mountains.

Everything was great – the food, the atmosphere, and the location – but the best part was the staff, Matheus and Aurora. My goodness, what kindness and friendliness! Two young people with an energy, a welcoming spirit, and a level of care and attention that is hard to find these days. Aurora and Matheus, and the whole team, our deepest gratitude.

It's a bit of a hidden place, but once you get to know it, I'll gladly return.

I came to eat at this historic trattoria with my family and friends. I have to say that the pizza is really good, and they also serve excellent lake fish. The staff was very friendly, and the owner is truly charming and gives you a very warm welcome. Definitely recommended; we'll be back soon.

A warm welcome from Carlo, you arrive and feel at home! A tucked-away spot with a beautiful garden, terrace, and cozy winter garden. On weekends, they offer braised dishes such as ossobuco. Pork cheeks, rabbit, and knuckles with polenta – highly recommended! Pasta dishes and pizza. It was busy, so the service couldn't always keep up with clearing away or taking additional orders, but that wasn't a problem; we had plenty of time. ;-) We had a great time with good food (excellent value for money). Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!
