The first courses were excellent, and the tagliata was also quite good. My advice...an extra 50 grams of pasta wouldn't hurt, in fact...anyway, it's great for an evening with friends.

A very authentic restaurant in the style of an old Roman trattoria, but not frequented by tourists. The menu features extensive traditional fare. Some dishes are served directly from the pan. Huge portions. The lentils and tripe were good. The Amatriciana was perhaps lacking a bit of spiciness. The only complaint is that some dishes are served in non-stick pans, but the original coating is missing. The price is okay.

We've been walking non-stop around the capital for two days, so we decide to go to this little place, which is just 5 minutes from our accommodation. The trattoria is welcoming and simple, with beautiful checkered tablecloths and traditional objects hanging on the walls and ceiling. We order a vegetable appetizer (chicory and amazing potatoes), house red wine, oxtail stew, ossobuco, tiramisu, and peaches soaked in wine. The bill is €65. Excellent quality food, cooked with love, just like grandma's, good service, never intrusive. The place was immediately added to our favorites. Excellent!

A quaint place, friendly and welcoming staff, and… THE BEST CARBONARA I'VE EVER EATEN!! And not only that… all the Roman dishes are EXCELLENT!

I can confirm that this is not your typical restaurant overrun by tourists; in fact, almost all the diners are locals, groups, and families. The dishes are simple yet tasty, authentic, and generous, with a true respect for traditional Roman cuisine. The chef prepares everything by hand, and the homey character shines through in the succulent and distinctive dishes. The owner, Michele, is incredibly welcoming, and he knows how to put guests at ease, engaging in conversation while remaining discreet. Recommended. I will be back.
