A Michelin recommendation? How? The atmosphere, decor and service were extremely neat and correct, but we found the food to be substandard. How can you serve a steak tartare sweet? Very bad for the flesh. Our main course consisted of a dry piece of simmered meat. Not our thing. We must mention that our first wine, which we thought was not tasty, was also not on the bill, very nice! There really are better restaurants in Salerno. Sorry....

5 of us had an amazing dinner at Hydra this December. Tortello alla genovese with truffles is to die for. Food was absolutely exquisite and the service even better. Their wine list is one of the best. Saperavi from Georgia was our favorite choice. I can't wait to go back!!!

During our recent visit to Hydra Restaurant, we were completely fascinated by the refined and welcoming environment we found. Every detail of the venue is elegantly curated, including an impressive cellar that promises excellent wines with every sip. The food served was simply exquisite, each dish reflected the passion and skill of the chef, with fresh ingredients and innovative combinations that delighted the palate. Prices were also surprisingly reasonable for the high quality on offer, making the dinner excellent value for money. The staff proved to be extremely competent and attentive, making our experience even more pleasant. We received personalized recommendations that turned out to be flawless. We are so enthusiastic about this culinary gem that we have already recommended it to all our friends and acquaintances. Special thanks to Casa Sant'Angelo for recommending this magnificent restaurant to us. Without a doubt, the Hydra Restaurant is an obligatory stop for those seeking a high-level gastronomic experience. We can't wait to return!

Disappointment In general, before you can claim something from Michelin, you need to improve the basics. For example, you should not put hot food on a cold plate. Otherwise, hot immediately turns into cold, and eating cold tagliolini or octopus is still a pleasure In general, it is clear that the chef here is passionate, although this does not affect the taste. Beetroot pasta, lots of peas for decoration, rubber octopus, strange plates... And there is also a sommelier... - the lightest red please - here's the wine, 13° - is there something even easier? - yes there is, wine 12° Why is he here? In general, I would pass by this restaurant, despite its inclusion in the Michelin guide Pros: good service and nice interior.

Among the list of restaurants to "visit", I had the opportunity for lunch (unusual for me), and what I found did not disappoint my expectations. Welcoming and intimate environment, soft lighting, offers an outdoor area that can be used in summer or on the hottest days. The cuisine is refined, skilful use of excellent raw materials (I tasted one of the best Fassona tartare), intelligent combinations, courteous and knowledgeable staff. It is possible to order a la carte or choose one of the tasting menus (the vegetarian and vegan options are interesting). Prices in line with the type of venue. Recommended. The restaurant is located near the seafront, in a limited traffic area, if you arrive it is preferable to park in one of the public or private car parks located a few hundred meters away.

The atmosphere of the place is charming and intimate with refined furnishings. The service was impeccable. I gave 4 stars because, although I really appreciated the environment, I found some small details that did not fully satisfy me: slightly stained glasses, a slightly unstable table and tasty but not unforgettable dishes. I believe that with a little more attention, the experience would have been perfect.

Locale in piano centro storico, molto accogliente, caldo, servizio accurato, preciso e veloce. Ricette tradizionali, rivisitate con cura, ingredienti freschissimi, pesce e carne.
