Come promesso nella precedente recensione siamo tornati in questo ristorante ed ancora una volta ci ha sorpresi positivamente. Senza tediare i lettori con inutili dettagli sui piatti mi limito a dire che ci ha soddisfatti pienamente per originalità e gusto, anche questa volta. Quello che si percepisce chiaramente è che in questo ristorante lavorano persone competenti che amano quello che fanno. Bravissimi. Allego alcune foto a sostegno (e prova) di quanto dico in questa pur breve recensione. Complimenti. Come di consueto è un posto consigliatissimo. (Aggiungo che questa volta abbiamo cenato nella corte interna all'aperto e si sta benissimo).

This little restaurant, in the historic center of Salerno, is decidedly enchanting, with an internal courtyard, set up in a truly extraordinary way, which helps to make the environment even more comfortable and exclusive!
The menu is very varied, with really well-executed dishes. The staff were very friendly and, above all, very kind.
Good value for money: ace recommended!
I gave 4 stars because something in the service can still be improved....
and I hope to return as soon as possible and be able to give 5 stars😉

We were very curious and on June 6th on the occasion of our anniversary we were guests of this restaurant. What can I say, everything is perfect, I think it's a restaurant that can easily aim high, if I really have to nitpick I expected the small pastry shop to accompany the end of the meal at the end of the route. Favorite dish: bottoni, best stuffed pasta ever but even fish & chips were no joke and trust us we like to eat.

Hydra è un piccolo angolo di paradiso locato al centro di Salerno. Il pranzo è stato un'esperienza unica, ogni portata raccontava il territorio attraverso sapori intensi ma al contempo delicati. Anche la musica e l'atmosfera nel giardino hanno contribuito a creare un'atmosfera perfetta in un crescendo che tra sapore, ambiente, rapporto qualità prezzo, gentilezza e cordialità dello staff. Oltre alla menzione sulla guida Michelin questo ristorante ha tutte le carte in regola per ambire alla stella.

The Michelin guide doesn't give a good idea of how amazing this place is. The location is crazy, the food is divine, the staff is excellent, the owner Marco is very kind and the wine cellar is formidable. The icing on the cake is the internal courtyard in an ancient building which makes this restaurant one of a kind.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our engagement! The staff and food were exceptional. Fantastic restaurant, if you are staying in Salerno we fully recommend going to Hydra!
