The only 5-star hotel in Brescia, located in the historic center near Piazza della Loggia. The interiors and rooms are very beautiful, furnished with taste and with various paintings, sculptures and installations by contemporary artists from Lombardy and elsewhere, it consists of several large rooms located on different levels, a large bar with lounge on the ground floor, a panoramic terrace where you can have a good aperitif.

I would like to make a premise. What differentiates a hotel that defines itself as 5 stars from those of a lower category, in addition to, and to a small extent from, the structure, is above all the service. Having spent New Year's Eve at this facility and also booked the buffet at their bistro, I began to have bad feelings right from check-in. The lobby had been filled with coffee tables filled with glasses and cutlery in a very small space. Some were set for 10 - 12 or more people (and we are talking about low coffee tables of just one metre). The room assigned was not at the level of a 5 star, let's say that at most it was decent overlooking an unwatchable internal courtyard. Old furniture, wardrobe that didn't close and pre-war hospital style beds. Once we went down for the buffet dinner at the so-called bistro we found ourselves faced with about a hundred people trying to be seated. We were then arranged in the lobby on a micro table for two people and there were three of us. They were not even able to prepare in time despite the reservation and advance payment for three people. So no bistro. They only tried to maximize takings to the detriment of every service and without the slightest attention to the customer, just trying to fill every available corner with people and with only two waiters who obviously couldn't keep up with all those people. Either you ate or drank because the attendant either served food or drinks. We asked for a bottle of water only to be told that they didn't have any and that they had gone to get it from who knows where only to receive it 40 minutes later. No information about the evening from anyone, the hotel website said that the terrace was closed for works and instead it was open. Unappetizing and cold catering food. We made our complaints to the person who was indicated to us by the waitress as responsible even though at that point there was no longer any possible remedy for that disaster. The menu indicated a dessert buffet at the end which never materialised. We also expressed our dissatisfaction at checkout before we left. 5 stars? I advise the management to leave their own backyard and go and see what customer service means in a real hotel. What a pity.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the city center, parking garage Piazza Vittoria right next to the hotel. Friendly staff, room not very big but clean, good Italian breakfast. Great value for money, definitely recommend the hotel!

Overall, our recent experience at the Hotel Vittoria 🏨 was positive 👍🏻, an elegant structure where we spent half a day during a conference. Arriving on site at 3.10pm 🕒 (subject to reservation 📞) directly from the car park 🅿️ in Piazza Vittoria, we immediately paid our individual fee for dinner (50 euros 💶 the total) and then went to the bar to drink a coffee ☕️ (2 euros each the tariff). The work of our conference then began around 4.00 pm 🕓 and continued until 8.30 pm 🕣. Finally, the dinner was not bad, based on a fixed menu 📋 including a first course ("Homemade meat candies with saffron cream, its crunch and flakes of cherry tomatoes"), a second course ("CBT Prussian braised meat with artichoke Roman"), dessert ("Passion fruit cream with raspberry coulis) and coffee ☕️; to drink, water 💧 and red wine 🍷 what a white 🥂🍾. All certainly valid 👍🏻 in terms of taste 😋 and originality of the dishes, but the service was decidedly less good 👎🏻 given that the braised meat arrived on the table "in fits and starts", so to speak in fact, there was a mix-up (it seems some dishes were missing, even though there were reservations), some, including myself, were served after that the other diners had already finished their meal a while ago. Not exactly the best for a five-star establishment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, especially considering the above rates 🤨. especially the younger 👩🏻 girl. Bathrooms 🚾 clean and tidy even though the Vespasians were out of service 🚫. The location in the city center is strategic, of which the structure 🏨 also represents one of the most valuable buildings also from a historical and architectural point of view. In fact, inaugurated in 1933 in the midst of the fascist era, the hotel soon became one of the most prestigious in Brescia. The decline of the structure began in the seventies, culminating in its final closure in 1983. The subsequent redevelopment works, in particular, led to an expansion of the basement, which was subsequently transformed into conference rooms. Regarding the furnishings, an attempt was made to maintain and enhance what was already present, integrating it, where necessary, with elements in line with the underlying style. The latter, in fact, still represents the true strong point of the structure today 🏨, which, with its monumental and refined profile, certainly recalls the glories of a distant era.

A good historic hotel, 5 stars in name but not in fact. Excellent location in the heart of the city with some problems reaching it by car due to ZTL. It's nice that the cost of the nearby public garage is included in the price of the room. The construction built over twenty years by the famous architect Piacentini is very beautiful and appreciable, the same for the very beautiful interiors but, in my opinion, a radical renovation would be necessary for a 5-star hotel, maintaining the structure and the valuable period furniture. The room (booked a superior, we were offered an upgrade to a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the Duomo) is large and beautiful but neglected (a detached and dangling curtain, mismatched towels, patched bathrobes, very heavy roller shutter... .) and above all decidedly poorly heated. Large vintage bed, but broken mattresses (2 singles pushed together!) A nice bathroom with poor equipment (soap dispenser, shower cap and nothing else) but the fixtures are almost new. Good breakfast but not 5 star. Fair price. A truly positive note for the restaurant-bistro: the food was very good, I would say the many excellent appetizers brought during the preparation of the orders were exceptional. Prices a little high but appropriate for the venue, the excellent service and the quality of the food. The discount offered to hotel guests was very welcome.
