A truly exceptional hotel - a princely stay. All three employees stood up to greet us at reception. The food was delicious in both restaurants - great value for money. The murky water in the pool and the service in the pizzeria weren't great. While clearing our table, the waitress accidentally knocked everything over and soiled our clothes - which can happen. He apologized, but nothing else. Only after being asked (after 15 minutes) did he wipe the table with a used napkin - disgusting - and he didn't offer anything for the soiled clothes - not even a free coffee. The breakfast was okay, but the scrambled eggs were empty on both days and had dried dark edges - the service was only proactive at the table on one day. The location is unpleasant - an impoverished place with no flair whatsoever.

I went there for a pizza. Very good, excellent service, friendly and professional staff. I recommend it. Prices are normal.

Impressive location rich in history. The service is adequate although a little more care on the cleanliness of the room would have been appreciated. Rich and satisfying breakfast. The SPA was not available unfortunately.

You have to fall in love with this place right away, or go elsewhere, it's not for you. And it happened to me! When you enter the ancient villa, a work of art made of a fascinating mix of Baroque and Art Nouveau art, you are surrounded by the music of Bach, Mozart, Rossini, and that could be enough. What about the park? Nothing, you just have to walk in the silence inside it, because talking about it is useless if you don't appreciate its centuries-old plants, the majestic sequoias and incredible magnolias. Oh, you're interested in knowing what the rooms are like. They are large, clean, with furniture from another era, mine with a beautiful bathroom with a window. Each room is different and has its own story, some have a view of the lake. I also found the breakfast excellent. The staff is made up of very kind and attentive young people. It's not a place for everyone, and for this reason I will return.

The most wonderful place ever, quite for a perfect relaxing staying. Service, breakfast, all great. We enjoyed like in an italian movie😍😍😍

Beautiful place with restaurants and pool in a very well-kept garden.

It's not worth the 4 stars at all. Only the exteriors are magnificent, but it's not very clean. In the villa rooms, there's no kettle or anything to make tea or coffee. No bottled water provided after each room cleaning. The spa is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We arrived on Monday evening and left on Thursday morning, so great. They could have given us a heads-up. Breakfast isn't much, and you have to keep asking for more supplies. The pool doesn't open until June 20th; they didn't let us know either. In short, it's way too expensive for me.

Villa Borghi is a charming hotel with a tranquil atmosphere and beautiful lake views. However, it’s in a small village with limited taxi availability, so guests should arrange transportation in advance.
