Hotel Sterzingermoos In Vipiteno

Great hotel, nothing to complain about. The town center with plenty of restaurants and shops is a 10-minute walk away, the Eurospar supermarket is a 6-minute walk away, and several restaurants are a 6-minute walk away.

I've been coming to the Sterzinger Moos for 40 years and have witnessed the hotel's development firsthand. It's incredible what the Planck family has accomplished here. No matter when I've called, I've always been able to get a room. I've always been treated warmly and like family, and they've always given me tips on the best spots. When I'm at the Moos, I always feel at home. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and absolutely delicious. Half-board is an absolute must: varied and incredibly tasty cuisine, usually cooked by the owner himself, and he does a fantastic job. Second helpings? No problem. The hotel has a great espresso bar, and what I like best about it is that you always meet locals. In short: if you want to be on the safe side, the Sterzinger Moos is the place to go. And you can reach the center of Sterzing in just a 5-minute walk.

The hotel is highly recommended. In addition to the usual categories, what was special for us was that we were able to check in late after reception closed and spent a restful night.

We stayed here for two nights. Room 303 was spacious, very clean, and well soundproofed. The hotel's own café is also great for relaxing inside or outside.

Our stay at the Sterzinger Moos was one of the highlights of our holiday in Vipiteno. A family-run hotel just a few minutes' walk from the train station and the historic center of Vipiteno, Sonja (the owner) is the most welcoming, kind, and friendly person we met on our holiday; we immediately felt at home. The modern room was beautiful, simple yet elegant, with wooden furniture. The wellness area was also excellent, featuring a Finnish sauna, steam bath, Kneipp path, solarium, and even an infrared cabin (never seen before in a hotel). Highly recommended!

It's always a pleasure to stop here, take over the outdoor seating area, and relax. Very nice and clean rooms. A very extensive and fresh breakfast.

Excellent experience. The room was tidy, clean, and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and dinner. Beautiful location with a beautiful view. The center can be reached in about a ten-minute walk.
