We have been here several times as hotel guests on summer vacation and also like to spontaneously go to the restaurant in the evening to eat.
The rooms are spacious and modern with a fantastic view. The surrounding area is great for hiking, horse riding and cycling. The food with half board is super tasty, fresh and with a great selection.
We'd love to come back.

Abendort apartment on 2 levels, with kitchenette, terrace, 2 showers. Underground garage for motorbikes. Restaurant with a panoramic terrace overlooking the valley. Good food and generous portions. Kind and hospitable. Advised.

Nice discovery. I approached it with a bit of distrust given the reviews of some Italian guests, in reality I had a great time. The owners have always been helpful and kind. The property is located in the mountains near Merano and I stayed in the new part and I can say that the room is modern, comfortable and spacious. Excellent breakfast, there is a great variety and quality products (from savory to fruit and obviously there is no shortage of desserts). The dinner and the appetizer buffet were also excellent, large and complete from meat to fish. The sauna is very beautiful, on request it is possible to have dinner and breakfast on the terrace, with a splendid view. The swimming pool is nice (there are also water aerobics "lessons" organised), too bad it's completely indoors. there is also a small gym equipped with modern machines, in conclusion excellent experience.

We stayed in the beautiful Hotel Sonnenheim in Avelengo for a week in July. We were very impressed with this hotel. It has its own underground car park and a ski room for the winter. The breakfast buffet is varied and varied. There are fresh 🍓, peaches, homemade jams... lots of rolls... dinner was served in 5 courses, the first course was a very varied starter buffet... with Vitello Tonato, salads, baked shrimp... everything was very great. The staff were all super friendly. Ebike rental. The location was very quiet and yet central. You could take the village bus to the city of Meran, to the lower village of Hafling to Falzleben to the mountain railway. A really nice holiday with lots of impressions. Our room was modern with a beautiful balcony.

After visiting the hotel several times you can only say that it really is a little dream. Everything is just right here. From the hotel to the room to the spa area and the surrounding area is simply beautiful. The food was one of the highlights, it was extensive and always perfectly prepared. South Tyrol is a holiday destination that I will always strive to visit.
