Stayed there for one night. Price for the room too high. The food is excellent and the portions are completely sufficient, the prices are on the lower side, the staff is courteous and the boss is very friendly. Location is really fantastic.
We would book again.
The only point of criticism: Dogs have no place in a dining room, but I understand that the owners are in a bit of a dilemma as they don't want to scare away guests.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms at the back have a fantastic view of the Aosta valley and the mountains behind such as the Grand Paradiso. The rooms are dated, but comfortable.
For dinner you can choose from a large number of local dishes. The menu does not change, so if you stay there for a long time you sometimes eat the same thing. But that is not a punishment, because it is very tasty. The breakfast is fine and there is plenty of choice.
The village of Vens is very popular with hikers, which means it can be quite busy. However, in the evening it is wonderfully quiet.
There are a number of beautiful walks from the hotel, including to the top of Mont Fallère.

What a pleasant surprise! After randomly choosing this restaurant from the Fork, we drove up the snowy mountain on a well plowed road to a warm and inviting authentic mountain chalet.
We enjoyed a traditional Alpine meal which pleasantly surprised us. The service was professional and accommodating, the waiter spoke multiple languages and the food was exceptional.
Highly recommended, it's well worth the extended drive.
