My partner and I stayed at this inn in the second ten days of August.
The location is beautiful and quaint, and the staff is friendly.
We took advantage of the tourist menu for €25, which includes a first course, second course, and side dish. Wine and coffee are not included in the price.
The portions are excellent, perhaps because the kitchen was rushing things... the first course (casoncelli bergamaschi) was taken out of the oven two minutes early and was a bit tough... It can happen. Overall, considering the time of year, we had a good time.

Excellent pizzeria restaurant, aptly named, a true inn with typically mountain decor, plenty of tables, though reservations are always recommended. The pizza is delicious, but they also excel at their generous portions of first and second courses. You won't leave hungry. Highly recommended.

A go-to place every time we're in the area, with more than one visit per stay. It's truly worth it for the menu, quality, and courtesy. I can't judge the hotel, as I haven't stayed there, but I'm sure it's up to par with the restaurant.

Excellent food...great service...fantastic owners...a real family...I just can't understand the constant complaints from people while waiting for their food to be served...relax and enjoy every single moment spent together looking at the view that surrounds the Locanda del Cacciatore!..Highly recommended!!!

Since it's practically the only place to eat in the entire country, I was worried they'd exploit their monopoly to raise prices and lower quality. But no: normal prices, generous portions, good food, and plenty of choice. You might have to wait a bit if it's busy, but I'd say it's worth it. Plus, they'll let you know if the wait is long. The only real downside was that there were leftovers from the previous guests' lunch under our table: bits of breadsticks and literally a fork. However, it was extremely busy, so they probably cleared our table and remade it as quickly as possible.
Recommended. Not that you have many other options in Gromo, but recommended nonetheless.

Fue una experiencia agradable. Habíamos conducido un par de veces. La pizza de queso local era genial. Las setas estaban geniales. La polenta también fue genial.
