I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and hotel “Zum Hirschen” in Magreid! Owner Luca and his team are extremely friendly, accommodating and warm. It's always a pleasure to stay there - we've been guests several times and have never been disappointed. The food is simply incredibly good and very fresh. Italian cuisine is celebrated to perfection here, and I can only recommend the pasta with venison bolognese (Pasta al Ragù di Cervo) - it is an absolute delight! The fine selection of wines, including excellent wines from Alois Lageder and Nals Magreid, also rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. The coffee is also of the best quality and ensures a successful end to every meal. The rooms are modernly furnished and offer plenty of space, which makes your stay even more pleasant. All in all, “Zum Hirschen” is the perfect place for a break, good food and excellent service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Best regards & Grazie Mille, Lisa and Sebastian

Family lunch. Setting with great attention to detail, modern. Friendly and helpful staff, with high professionalism. The food? Excellent! Absolutely worth trying: all the venison-based dishes, the trio of dumplings, the risotto and the homemade desserts. Excellent wine list; honest prices. It is certainly a restaurant where we will return.

One day it's open from 5.30 p.m. and there's great service and super tasty pizza, the other day you're sent away in a very unfriendly manner (different service person) at 5.40 p.m. because the restaurant doesn't seem to open until 6 p.m. Unfortunately, points are deducted for this.

Beautiful structure that integrates modernity with traditional style. Excellent location for those who want to spend time in the surrounding wine area. Attentive and friendly staff, good breakfast (not very varied) and excellent pizza in the restaurant. Price a little high

As part of this year's crossing of the Alps on the "Bergfexn Tour 2024" we also came to Magereid and stayed overnight in the Restaurant zum Hirschen. The food and breakfast are sensational. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are great. We would like to come again.
