I stayed yesterday for the Way of the Gods walk. The location was perfect, the cleanliness was excellent, and the hostess was super kind and helpful. Excellent value for money. The hotel is older but well-maintained.

We stayed with our family for one night. The location is excellent, the rooms simple but comfortable and clean. Everything is a little dated, but we had a great time and will return. The family management is impeccable. 5 stars for the hospitality. We'll be back.

I stayed here with two friends during the second leg of the Via degli Dei. We were very satisfied with the service and the value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take the Via degli Dei, and if I were to do it again, I would definitely come back. Thank you for everything.

Economical without many pretensions..

A hotel on the Via Degli Dei. Overall, Madonna dei Fornelli is beautiful, a small and cozy village, perfect after hours of walking. It's the second stop on the trek, and getting there is a great first milestone. The hotel could use some renovation, but I also loved the old-world style, the walls of the breakfast room, as if not so long ago, a time without technology, maps, or cutting-edge footwear. The staff were kind and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent, served with cappuccino and brioche made on the spot, so nice and warm (a rare occurrence). Definitely recommended for travelers! The hotel feels like it's stuck in the '60s, and it has a family atmosphere! The food is excellent, just like home, with simple and authentic cuisine. I'll be back :-) We stumbled upon it by chance a few years ago, exiting the highway that would have taken us to Austria. We took the BADIA exit and followed the signs for PIAN DEL VOGLIO, but the urge to climb the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines was strong; the higher we climbed, the cooler it got. When we reached the top, a hotel appeared... Yes, let's stop here! As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was reminiscent of the '60s and '70s. In the dining room, we noticed unusual furniture, radiator covers, wood on the walls up to a certain height... iron chandeliers with bulbs, 3 out of 7 working. Traditional Emilian dishes, with homemade pasta, sauces you'd forgotten existed. I imagine how many happy faces that hall has seen, how many New Year's Eves with lavish cotillions, mothers-in-law's tongues ringing in the ears of happy, spirited people. While on the one hand it makes me sad, on the other it makes me dream. The rooms furnished with furniture that reminds me of the summer of 1969. The majolica tiles in the bathroom with designs that are unthinkable today. The sink with the stopper tied to a string with metal dots—it all makes you feel like you're at your grandparents' house, pampered by a thousand attentions. I'm talking about the Musolesi Hotel, 800 meters above sea level. My advice to guests: Don't pay attention to the furnishings or the floors, but to the kindness and helpfulness of the owners who have passed it down through generations. This magical place is a world heritage site.

Old style hotel but clean and comfortable. Kind and helpful owners. Excellent home-made dinner and super breakfast (fresh croissants on the table!). Fresh water at will. Nice stop along the Via degli Dei. Thanks for the welcome

Arrivati in bici facendo tappa lungo la Via degli Dei da Bologna a Firenze. Accolti con molta cordialità e disponibilità. Camere pulite e funzionali con comode mensole per sistemare borse e vari ammennicoli che formano il corredo del cicloturista. Ottima cena; abbiamo fatto la mezza pensione ma con menù alla carta. Tortellini di ricotta straordinari, pollo fritto come da tanto non mangiavamo. E per finire: crema fritta, una delizia. Prezzi onesti e tanta disponibilità.
