You look out of the bedroom window and before your eyes there is the breathtaking view of Lake Como. Take the car and after 10 minutes you are in Menaggio, one of the most beautiful places on the lake and from where you can reach both Varenna and Bellagio by ferry. For lunch or dinner you can enjoy the delicacies of the local cuisine (I recommend the rice with perch). Finally, many thanks to Tina, Davide and all the staff of the Hotel "La Sorgente" for their availability, professionalism and kindness. Eduardo Di Lieto

We were pleasantly surprised by the prices of the dishes at the hotel: Italian pizzas for 7 euros, delicious! Breakfast was also very good. Thank you for this vacation!

I went with my girlfriend to spend a gift box that had been given to us. Spartan place like we like. The very kind owners prepared a delicious vegetarian platter (as we requested) with local products and two glasses of prosecco, all consumed with a lake view. We will definitely be back

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, and recommend it to anyone who appreciates the peace & the views of the area. Very clean , impeccable service and a most courteous & helpful reception, direct by owners. Left hotel impressed by their kindness, that went beyond all expectations!!

The view from the rooms is breathtaking, service extremely good and food was delicious. We had a most wonderful stay, definitely will come back. Hosts went out of their way to help and assist in any way needed. Highly recommend

Exceptional quality-price. The staff is the best, they saved us from several troubles since the area is quite remote and transportation is disastrous. Careful and attentive at all times. The breakfast contains the basics of very good quality, the rooms are complete and with classic wardrobes but in good condition. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. Spacious and complete bathroom with bidet, although a door was missing and it had a somewhat uncomfortable shower curtain on. It is worth the price to go to rest there, without people or noise and good quality

14/11/2024: I've already been there twice. Usually everything is clearer the second time. In fact, as far as I'm concerned this is a restaurant that should always be full. Top quality/price ratio. Service very attentive to details and those small attentions that are always appreciated.

Ristorante Bella Vista

04/12/2024: The venison with chanterelles and the guinea fowl with lentils are excellent. Sunny day on the veranda, very pleasant and quiet.
05/10/2024: This is a great place to stay for those who like resorts on a mountain setting. The rooms are clean and were recently renovated. The service is great and friendly with the family owning this resort tirelessly working from early morning to late at night to serve the guests, always with a smile. The views are great and at night you can enjoy the sunsets over the mountains and then at night the glow of city lights by the lake. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the villages nearby. There are several communes nearby. If you chose this place be prepared for the narrow, steep roads with very sharp turns. The locals drive very fast on the middle of the narrow road but they are good at avoiding the cars in the opposite direction. Be prepared with encounters with buses and trucks going fast and taking the entire space of a turn with zero visibility. You can access Como and other nearby towns after descending to lake level.
