A lovely location for a stopover.
We'd love to return in November, and today in July for the third time.
Definitely have dinner there; the tartare was delicious and a great surprise.

After a few years I returned to dine at Carrettino in Tortona, what can I say, the years go by but the food is always the same, tonight only meat and salad, for me it was the right choice

We stayed two nights.
The property is very remote, about a ten-minute drive from Tortona, in the countryside.
The advantage is the absolute silence, especially at night.
The exterior is very beautiful, as are the lobby and common areas, nicely furnished in an antique style.
The rustic rooms are rather basic. There are few electrical outlets.
The breakfast is excellent and varied, with a savory and sweet buffet, fruit juices, and cappuccino or espresso.

I was there for a ceremony, just the right lunch, it was a shame that the day was so hot and the hall was very large and difficult to cool down.

The food has clearly worsened, unlike the cost. I just left after eating agnolotti with stracotto sauce (pretty good), roast veal, 2 of which were good and the third inedible (totally from another piece), green salad with some rotten pieces. Condiments and cheese all in sachets like at self-service. For €20, truck drivers deserve better treatment. There is also a certain intolerance towards the drivers.

Fui a comer por negocios. La comida era muy agradable. Comida típica italiana de hacer lo básico muy bien, con mucho gusto. Sin duda recomiendo

Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo di lavoro in settimana. Ambiente accogliente. Possibilità di pranzare alla carta oppure menù di lavoro. Ottima scelta tra vari primi, secondi e contorni; oppure piatti unici. Tutti i piatti sono buoni e ben cucinati. Ottimo servizio ai tavoli. Parcheggio adiacente.
