Our family of 4 had the amazing experience to stay 3 nights at this hotel. We cannot say enough positive things about this marvelous place. The hotel is located on the lake, surrounded by mountains and unparalleled natural beauty. The hotel staff was very accommodating and attentive - ready to help with every single one of our needs - always with a smile. We highly recommend the restaurant - every single dish we tried, especially the risotto, octopus, and fish were delicious and the wine list had a great variety. We hope to be back in a near future.

The stay was simply perfect! The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. The restaurant is charming and the food delicious! The setting is also magnificent, right on the lake and in a picturesque location. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

The Hotel Ristorante il Belvedere is located in Torno, a charming little town. The room is spacious, comfortable, and has a terrace overlooking the lake. We felt right at home thanks to the entire team of professionals at both the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant offers an excellent menu featuring high-quality ingredients and served by attentive and helpful staff, who can also arrange for dishes not on the menu. The owning family is involved in the management of both the hotel and the restaurant, and this is evident in their attention to every detail. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant when staying in Torno and it exceeded our expectations. We don't usually frequent in fancier scale restaurants so we were a bit worried of what to expect when it comes to prices and service etc. However, it was amazing! The service people were very friendly, professional and attentive. We didn't feel forced or looked-down on. The prices were on the higher side - but they were more than reasonable considering the quality of service, food and the views you get! The food was amazing - from the complimentary mini appetizers and bread, to the mains and desserts. Everything tasted incredible - fresh, high quality and full of flavour. Higher recommend!

Tried both the hotel (2 nights) and the restaurant. Highly recommend both! - the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean - the view from the room cannot be better - it was just perfect - location cannot be better - the ferry stops literally in front of the hotel. And the village itself feels so authentic! - staff was very polite and competent - the restaurant of the hotel is waterfront and was absolute top notch! Features a very good wine list that a wine lover would appreciate!

Of the dishes I've tried, the pizza is truly excellent: crispy and well-topped, while the pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) are savory and full of flavor. 02/11/2025: Seafood dinner, perfect! Tasty appetizers of various kinds, from the tender seafood salad to the shrimp cocktail, mussels, skewers, and then fried fish, sea bass, and scallops. Generous and expertly cooked. The owners and staff are always smiling and kind. 🫶Absolutely recommended!
23/10/2025: We had gone to the hospital for a checkup, and it's sad to say, but after dinner at this restaurant, our spirits were already restored. The attention to detail is evident inside: the black paint and the paintings create a classy atmosphere. Sure, it could use a little more attention to detail, but we're already off to a good start. And the impressions improve with the dishes: charming, captivating, and even with some unusual offerings. The perch platter as an appetizer was incredibly generous, but a standing ovation for the pizza alla porta, which was incredibly rich yet perfectly balanced. And nothing else: the braised beef seemed cooked by angels, accompanied by polenta, a cloud of cheese, wheat, and indulgence. Reasonable price, as a final note.
